As everyone got down off the top of the Hunter Gratzner, I stayed for a few minutes longer looking out over the destruction behind us. Imam, Zeke, and Shazza are gonna have their work cut out for them collecting all the pieces to the meat puzzles. I sighed running a hand through my long blue, white, and black hair before climbing down off the ship. I entered into the ship through a massive hole in her side and began looking around for my pod. I knew if I found my pod then I would find my bag.

The place was trashed but thanks to my good senses I was able to find my smashed pod. The overhead compartment was bent in a terrible shape. I grabbed the bent door in my hands and easily pulled the metal up enough to pull my bag out.

"Hey." I looked up from opening my bag to see the girl masquerading as a boy.

"Hey." I said looking back in my bag. I smiled when I saw my water bottles weren't damaged during the crash. There was also a few candy bars but they were beginning to melt in this heat.

"I didn't catch your name."

"I'm Skylar." I took her outstretched hand and shook it, "Drink some of this but not too much. I don't know when we'll find water." I said handing her the water bottle.

Back happily took the bottle from me and took a sip to satisfy her dry mouth. She handed the bottle back to me and I put the lid back on.

"I'm Jack. Thanks for the water." She said and I nodded my head, "You're not gonna drink some?"

"I will later." As I looked through my bag more, a silence stood over us before Jack spoke again.

"You seem like a nice person."

"Thanks. I try to be. Can I ask you something Jack?" I asked not looking up at her.

"Sure."

"Why are you masquerading as a boy?" I questioned and I immediately felt a wave of fear and anxiety wash over her.

"Wha...what are you talking about?"

"It's not too obvious to the others but to me I can tell you're a girl." I said with a chuckle in my voice.

"You can't tell anyone else please! I don't wanna get left behind."

"That won't happen while I'm around, Jack but if you wish I'll keep your secret." I said with a nod and smile. Suddenly the young girl attached her arms around me in a hug. It was strange to me but I welcomed it as I hugged her back.

"We better join the others." I stood up with Jack and started off towards the hole I came in from. I stopped right before the entrance and looked over at Johns' prisoner.

"You go on Jack. I'll just be a minute." I said still looking at his back. I waited until Jack was gone before I approached the prisoner slowly as I pulled the water bottle from my bag.
