Natalie and I walk into the warehouse heading to our office. Joey asked me to fill for Bryan in today's shoot, bc yesterday him and Marvin have taken a Krav Maga lesson and they claimed to be too tired to come to work for some time. I've always liked Martial arts. I used to train Teakwondo when I was a teenager... good times.

"Hey (Y/n)." I heard Joey call my name.
"What's up?"
"Just wanna let you know that Bryan IS very much coming to work today, so you don't have to be in the video no more."
"Oh cool." I said quite relieved. I am indeed camera shy and I didn't want this role, so I was pretty glad that Bryan will be present today.

Our very short conversation was interrupted by a sound of breaking glass. It was so loud it echoed in the warehouse. I don't remember our company ordering any big fragile object that could be source of such sound.
"What was that?" I asked.
"Corey, is everything okay?!" Joey yelled. No response. That got us both nervous.
"I'll go check what happened. (Y/n), you go to your office." he went off to where the sound came from. I headed back to my office I share with Natalie. The room had one giant window and two doors, one of which led to the kitchen. I walked throught the other door and Natalie was nowhere in sight. Though her chair was laying on the ground.
"What the heck?" I said. Then I heard banging on the kitchen door.

Joey's pov:
I walked into the editors room, carefully opening the door. My heart stopped - the window was completely smashed, keys from the closet were gone, so were both our editors, and Kyle was tied to the chair. He was pale and had a tape on his mouth. There was knocking sounds from the inside of the closet. All this looked like a movie... a movie that noone would like to be in.

I rushed over to Kyle and untied him immediately. He took some deep breaths as he was finally free.
"D.K. and Corey are in the closet." he gasped out. "But he took the key. And our phones and wallets."
"Who's 'he'?" I asked.
"We have a robbery here, Joey." he pointed his head at the shattered window. A red light lit up in my head. I still had my phone, so I dialed 911 right away.

Bryan's pov:
I arrived at the Team Edge base and I could already tell something was odd. I couldn't see anyone. At first I thought it was early, so not everyone is at work yet, but quite a lot of employees work here and they don't just hide in their offices as they start the day. And when I entered the base it was way too quiet.

"Guys?" Nobody. Then, footsteps in the warehouse; I head there and see Whitney, slamming the door behind her. I didn't manage to call her, before some black figure approached the door and banged on them. I froze, they didn't notice me. They swore and ran back to the aisle they jumped out of. Who is this guy and why was he chasing Whitney? I ran after them.

(Y/n)'s pov:
I tiptoed to the kitchen, it was locked and key was nowhere to be found. I saw Natalie through the glass. She looked scared.
"Natalie? What is happening?"
"There's an attacker in here. He locked me there and took the key."
"A Robber?"
"Yeah, he took my wallet too." I looked around making sure the bandit is nowhere near.

"Did he hurt you?"
"No, he just wanted money."
"I'll give him money." I was pissed off.
"(Y/n), no. Go hide somewhere."
"But he has our valuables." I said and then I heard a scream. It was Whitney.

I ran to the room next to the kitchen where the scream came from. Whitney was cornered by a man in black who kept asking for her wallet and threatening her. Is he armed? How do I get Whitney out of this?
"Get your hands off her, you freak!" I yelled. What the heck am I doing?
"Well, well... Playing daredevil, aye? Are you lost or sth?"
"You're the one out of place." I tried my best to hide my fear and get his attention off of Whitney.

She made a run to the exit, the guy jumped after her, I tried to stop him. I held onto his sleeve.
"You shouldn't have done that." He said and swung his arm to punch me, but I blocked it. I could feel the nostalgia from the martial arts hit in.
"Surprise." I snap back. He lets go of me and we back up. But then he pulled out a pocket knife. That looked scary to me.

The next thing I know I was thrown on the wall on the other side of the room with a cut on my forehead. I couldn't remember much techniques vividly from Teakwondo practice, so the selfdefense kinda failed here.

"Leave us alone." someone said calmly. It was Bryan who appeared at the door. The bandit's attention landed on him. He swung the knife again, but then all of the sudden, he was unarmed. Bryan did some moves he learned yesterday at the Krav Maga and the pocket knife was out of the match. (13:20 in the video above). Though he didn't stab the attacker's back, so we performed a dual takedown on him. Just me and Bryan. Y'all... imagine... how epic... that was.

The police arrived and took the knocked out guy with them. We kept his bag, where all the stolen wallets, phones and keys were. Joey took all the keys and freed out employees. I was little shaken, I could have hurt this guy badly... it wasn't intended. I mean, he had a knife, it was self-defense, so I guess that's fine...

I was sitting in Bryan's office as he was cleaning the cut and putting plaster on my head.
"Hey... that Krav Maga was pretty impressive, I have to say." I said.
"Are you kidding? You went off with the backside kick."
"But you had one lesson of Krav Maga in life and you looked like a proffesional"
"Well, I like Martial Arts."
"Me too."
"Guess we should make out then." he said and I giggled.

"Really you'd make out with me?"
"I mean, hell yeah. Who wouldn't want to make out with you?" he said and I felt butterflies in my stomach.
"I forgot most of the techniques and moves..."
"But you did stop this man from hurting me." Whitney appeared in the room and cut in.

"I was lucky..."
"That roll you did was sick. And then you went, BAM, you caught him midair and BOOM, he's on the ground!" Whitney tried to picture the story with some impressive dance moves and Bryan was listening to her with a jaw dropped.
"Yeah, (Y/n)'s pretty good, Bryan. Like really, thank you, girl, for saving my life." I smiled at her, before she left us and the long awkward silence remained.

"Are you ok?" Bryan spoke as he finished with my head.
"Yeah, slowly recovering."
"You can cool down in here if you want."
"That'll be fine." he nodded and turned to the door, but I didn't want him to leave. I spun him towards me, caught his hand with both mine. He reached behind him and slowly closed the door. We held our hands at our chests. My eyes were yelling "CAN WE MAKE OUT ALREDY?" He titled his head to the right slightly and leaned in. I let him.

My fondant and blood from the plaster were all over his face. Let's just say it was a solid session. He said he takes me on a date afterwards and left the room. And no, we're not going to the fight club this time. At least I hope not.
