Blue Base War (Matthias)

*flashback to the ,,Walls are falling challenge" when Matthias left in the half of the challenge nobody knows why*

(Y/n)'s pov:

Matt and Joey were standing on the ramp, while dropping the wall on Bryan. Bobby between the cameras and me as an audio guy. Suddenly Matt slided down the pile, everyone went confused as he just ran out of the office. It's not the first time he's doing it. He disappeared like 3 times this week already.
"Here I gotta go!" he said and left the warehouse. I actually got curious. I wanted to know why Matt behaves like this. I stood up, took off my headphones and put them on Dave's neck. He looked at me, confused as I left the warehouse, following Matthias. He ran inside the blue base. I followed him, quietly. He entered the upstairs and as I stepped in, Mike saw me and almost screamed my name at on the entire base. I put my finger on my mouth, letting him know that he's gotta be quiet. I walked upstairs and Matt locked himself in the smallest office here. I was champing a bit and after a minute I just chimed in (haven't you people ever heard of...)

Matt almost shrieked at me and then in panic tried to cover everything in this room from me. There was the old Goggly Eyes setup, but like updated with leds, more sensors, switches and gadgets + two weird looking helmets on the table. I thought that Paul throw it away, when GG channel came up to life. Or maybe he did, but Matt collected them back for some reason.

"(Y/n), go away! You're not supposed to see it!"
"Matt, I already did. Now you can just tell me." He let out a deep sigh. Then Mike came up with his keyboard-DJ thing and set it down, behind the glass in a wall.
"(Y/n), it is really not like it looks like. You're gonna think that I'm crazy."
"I won't, promise. I'm just curious." We were just standing here, in silence, 'till Matt spoke up again. I know it sounds for him like just empty promises.
"It's a big risk. I don't want you to come in... you may get hurt." Matt was looking down at me with sorrow eyes, but suddenly sadness disappeared.
"Go back to Mike."
"But..."
"Now." his voice was forcing me to leave. I was scared now, but I left obediently and stood next to Mike. Then he turned on something on his board and Matt put on the helmet.
"Hey, (Y/n). I've never meant to make you afraid or worry about me. And I'm sorry..." I was sooooooo upset inside, bc it was all freaking me out and I didn't know anything.
"Mike, what is going on in here?" I asked. No aswer. Then Matt started to disappear. I needed to know what is happening in this mess! I put my hand on a random switch on board and Mike freaked out. "(Y/n), don't. You're gonna kill Matt!"
"I said... what is going on?" I repeated with stronger voice. If his life depends from this switch I would never do it, but Mike didn't know that.

"Matt is fighting for our base. Yesterday me and Matt got into the upside down somehow..."
" Wait, this from... Stranger things?" I asked frightened.
"Yeah, kind of. It's like this base, but way bigger, deformed, mile corridors and sth-"
"like Demogorgon?" Mike nodded. I started to shake and let go of the switch. "Then what is Matt fighting for?"
"Just like Matt can come there that Demogorgon can come to our world either. But Matt is just a visitor and this thing is creating our doom out there. Like the gigantic pot of black plasma that will swallow this office and every person that stepped in this base anytime." My heart was working on the heighest settings right now. I thought about all the people that works here.
"And Matthias is doing it all by his own?"
"Yeah." Mike said. Then I jumped to the door.
"No way in hell." As I chimed in Matt was now a fog. I put on another helmet. Mike could only scream at me. He automatically put his hand on the switch, but he reminded himself it's gonna blew me & Matt out of this and upside down world.
"Hey, hey, Mike. Don't, it's gonna kill us, remember?" I said like I didn't even care about our situation. But Mike was evidently mad.
"Ok, girl, you chimed in, now shut up! You're gonna get kicked while talking." I shut up as he told me to. I knew he was going to make a speech about my inappropriate behaviour and I wouldn't be able to even reply, so... meh.
"Why have you done this?! Matt is prepared for this and you're not! You're gonna get hurt or killed out there! You just kinda committed the suicide, (Y/n)! You're crazy." It made my blood boil in my veins. "I know." I said and disappeared completelly.

I landed in upside down with nothing like headache or anything. It looked exacly like Mike told me; deformed and misshapen base, but the only colours of the objects that left ware only black and blue. Then Matthias showed up. He was obviously mad and shocked at the same time.
"(Y/n), why and how?"
"You think I'd just let you go there alone?"
"I think I told you something!" he screamed at me, but then some roar interrupted our conversation.
"Matt, no time for arguing. You'll kill me later if so."
"Girl, it is really not funny. I've tried to protect you from this, but you just..." another roar.
"Doesn't matter. Let me tell you the most important then."
"Mike told me everything."
"Did he?"
"Yeah. He told me that the Demogorgon thing commands this dimention and is going to visit us with his slime soup of death. Also I got wind of that you were going to stop him... by your own."
"I'd never take that risk to pull one of my co-workers in this chaos with me."
"But you can't die either. We'd never find you, if you'd pass out in upside down."
"Jeez, (Y/n). Don't even say that."
"Sorry, Matt. I just want you to know that I... you..." Then I just hugged him.
"Promise me you'll not die here. I'm here to help you with it."
"You promise either, (Y/n)." he said and rested his head on top of mine.

Alright, HOLY SHIT, it turned out into a WAY longer chapter that I expected it was goin' to be. And I didn't even finish. Also this story includes almost 1105 words.DANG IT, FRICKIN'- uhh. Ok, next part of it comes out in like a week or two. See ya :)
