Why today?
Today was a day before the spring prom. It's weird. All my friends have
a date, all except me. We all went to buy our dresses, which got me kinda awkward. The prom's topic was like a ball. We had to wear a mask and puffy dresses. We aren't the type to wear it. We feel like a big fudging marshmallow. I found a blue dress that was so beautiful. (Please imagine it. Something weird is going on...)

I tried it on and showed it to my friends. They were in shock.
"Omg. You look so beautiful."
"So perfect."
"Dang girl."
I blushed.

Noah's POV

Why am I doing this?
My friends and I went to buy a tux for our prom.
They all had a date, except me.
I looked around until I found a beautiful girl.
She had h/c hair, e/c eyes, and the greatest smile.

That's Y/N!
I always had a crush on her.
My friends would tell me she had one on me also, but i would never believe them.
She looked beautiful, she had a blue dress on and was smiling like an angel. Her friends saw me staring at her. I turned around and ran to my friends. Oh, brother.

Y/n POV

I was hearing Billie Eilish and didn't hear my friends screaming like maniacs. They yanked my headphones/earphones out of my ears. "Hey, what are you doing! I was using that you know!"
They kept on talking at once and i didn't understand a single little word.
"One at a damn time!"

"Ok, you know your little boyfriend, Noah?" my best friend said.
I felt myself blush.
"He isn't my boyfriend (even though i wish, i whispered) but what about him?"
"He was staring at you and kept on drooling, we're telling you, y/n he does like you! He had hearts in his eyes!"
I rolled my eyes and went back to change into my regular clothes.
When I went back I payed for the dress and looked for my friends.
Worst thing yet, i saw my friends with their dates and NOAH.
I didn't pay attention, but saw my friends wave their hands in front of my face. I shook my head and realize
I was staring at him.
I felt a tint of blush in my cheeks.
I left my friends there and went to look for a mask for the dance.
I looked around and found the perfect one.

I tried it on and it looked perfectly.
I payed for it and left the store.
Even though my friends were still in there with their "dates", i was hungry.
I went to Aunty Anne's and got me a pretzel. Mama loves her pretzel.

I got a text from my friends Saying they were going to roam around with the guys. Well great.
I went into one of my favorite stores and could believe what/who i saw.

I saw noah looking around and smiling. He turned around and saw me. He smiled and walked over to me.

Noah's POV

WHAT AM I DOING.
LEGS STOP MOVING.
I cant believe what I'm doing.
My body is betraying me.
I finally realized I was in front of y/n.
I bet I look like a huge idiot. Can someone help me?!?!
"Hi. So You're going to the prom to huh?" She said.
"Y-yeah."
"Well who are you going with?"
"No-One. You?"
"No one either." I was shock.
Who wouldn't want to go with someone so beautiful, funny, and smart? "What not even! Someone would have asked you."
She shook her head. "I'm not surprised. But what I am surprised is no one asked you."
"Well, many have asked me, but i declined. I didn't want to go with them. Even if they were so popular or "really perfect" as many say. I just wanted to go with one person I always thought of."

Y/n POV

One person i always thought of.
My heart broke a little.
"Well, who would that be?"

I turned around to see if anyone was in the back of me.
He grabbed my shoulders and starred directly into my eyes.
"You. You, Y/N Y/L/N. I want to go with you." I felt myself blush.
"Wow um, yeah me too."
He pecked me in the cheek and left.

I stare at myself. I came quickly from school and took a quick shower.
I curled/straighten/(whatever you want) my hair. Perfect.
I didn't put make-up.
I look perfect without it.

I saw my friends dancing with their dates. I looked around for Noah.

While at Noah's House...

"Ow! CHLOE!
It hurts!" Noah screamed.
"Shut up you cry baby." Chloe yelled back. "We better hurry. Y/n is waiting for you and so is my date."
Noah blushed and she noticed.
"Aww is Noah ready to see her?" Chloe teased him.
"Hey, who's your date?" He shot back.
She glarred at him.
"Hurry up."
