I Have Mine

Split pieces of a heart,

You and me we are so different.

We used to be two peas in a pod,

No longer are we similar,

I no longer play with dolls,

You no longer are innocent as once.

Two different souls,

The ocean has pulled us in its riptide,

Pulled us our separate ways.

You will always have your thing,

And now I have mine.
