Hear Me Shout, Hear Me Cry

Hear Me Shout, Hear Me Cry

Background noise, something to sleep to.

Just a small shape of a sound,

Echoing in the back, not heard,

Not seen. Just a splash of gray on white.

Never cared for, never noticed, or understood.

Hear me shout, hear me cry.

Listen to that unnoticed voice.

Moving lips, no sound escaping.

Pictures of technicolor, painted black and white.

For once in my life I want to be heard.

Hear me shout, hear me cry.
