How long do I await my prince charming?
The one on a white horse, smile only for me.
The one Cinderella can only dream out.
How long should I wait, because I'm starting to doubt you'll ever come.
My foot doesn't fit in your glass slipper, so what!
My hair is too short for you to pull up the tower.
Don't expect me to eat an apple that puts me to sleep.
I am not a princess, but I still need my prince.
All this talk about women being independent, and I think its true.
I can do things on my own, but I still need a little love.
I want to be independent, but just hold my hand.
Tell me it will all be okay.
How long do I wait for my prince charming?
I want a prince charming who will love me for me,
I am not going to pretend to be a princess.
So hear my not-love song, and come for me.
