Black And White

Even in a old Polaroid picture, I show up in black and white.

The world continues around me like there is nothing wrong,

Every shoulder brush by me, showing my invisibility,

Each flicker of the eye, passing my by,

Shows who I am in this twisted around world.

Black and white.

I see the colors passing me bye.

Turning their backs on what they used in the old days.

Forgetting little old me, with the faded worn colors,

The one that blends in with the wall, flowering on the bricks.

As everyone rises from the ground, I sink into the concrete,

Folding back towards the ground.

You snap a picture, with a Polaroid camera,

Even then I still show up in black and white.
