Third person p.o.v
Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper. they were it in Riverdale, the classic lovestory you could almost say. the lonley badboy of the wrong side of the tracks. a dark past that always hangs over his head like a dark cloud. that could rain sadnes on you every second if you weren't being careful. the popular goodgirl with a smile almost as bright as the blood taht sinks down her palms everyday.

their hearts beat for another, they loved each other.

but their happy lives were interupted by a sudden knock on the door. just by one knock, and everything changed for them. for her.

''no Jugie, we've watched jigsaw like 12 times already. now it's my turn to pick!'' the beautiful blonde says going to reach for the black remote that the grinning beanie wearing boy had in his hands. ''but Betts it's a horror classic!'' he says back as he stood up on the old and smelly couch that had been in his family way to long already. his hand that held the remote was lifted high in the air. making the short blonde let out a huff of annoyence and she crosses her arms with a pout on her face.

she tried to look intimidating, but Jughead melted at the sight of his girlfriend trying to look mad. het let out a small awwe sound wich just made her even angrier. she jumped on the couch and tackeld the laughing boy. making them both fall on the old coffee stained carpet, Jughead letting out a oof sound as the blonde landed on his chest.

she didn't even wince tho as she quickly snatched the remote and sat her bum down on his chest, doing a little wiggle as if she was doing a victory dance almost. ''HA! pretty woman it is'' a smirk evident on her face as she looked down at her boyfriend in a teasing manner.

he pretended to be upset as he hid his smile, he didn't really care about the movie. as long as she was snuggeld up in his lap with loads and loads of popcorn he was happy. ''ahhh you've won over me. I surrender my princes'' he says over dramtically, making the blonde erupt in loud giggels. they leaned closer but before their lips could meet in a sweet kiss the bell interupted their normally quiet friday movie night.

the boy let out a groan of annoyence as the blonde stood up from his chest and placed herself comfartbly on the couch. ''you should get that'' Betty says with a giggle as she turned the tv on, and went onto netflix. thinking it was just Sweetpea being bored like always.

Jughead groaned again and mumbeld cuss words as he stood up, shuffling in a slow pace towards the door. he grumbeld before opening it, the familliar screeching of the old wood being swung was heard and as Jughead looked at the person standing on the streets silence filled the air.

his world started spinning, his breath got cought up in his troath as the same colourd eyes watched him before the familliar woman opened her dark red painted lips to speak. ''forsythe...'' she says in a wisper making Betty freeze on the couch as shock took over her. this was defiently not Sweetpea, she didn't know who replaced him but she knew a woman did.

she stood up and made her way to the door opening, quickly wrapping a arm around her boyfriends waist as she saw how distressed he looked, as if he just saw a ghost. And she wasn't very far off, he just stood eye to eye with a ghost of the past he would like to keep burried deep within him. she kissed his cheek and looked in worry as the woman raised her eyebrows in suprise. not really having expected Betty to just randomly pop up.

She used to always think that Jughead had a thing for archie, but oh well. That's what you get if you leave out of your sons life.

she has tought about a lot of ways for this conversation to go in the car, but being escorted in the small trailer she called home for 12 years of her life by the girlfriend of her 18 year old son was not a way she had to think of. but now it was the way she was greeted, a cup of coffee in her hands as she watched her now adult son. even after sitting at the dinner table awkwardly for at least 15 minutes, he still haven't spoken a word to her.
