Betty p.o.v

jughead tought that it was a good idea to take his little sister for the first time in the winter to sweet water river. Jelly is r now, and we tought it will be fun.

We were now by the river, and me and jelly were starting to make a snow man. When suddenly she started crying really loudly. Jug and I ran to her and asked her what is wrong. She said that her stuffie is gone.

Me and Jug knew she just let it fall out of her hands probally, so he dried her tears and peomised her that he would have it back to her as fast as he can.

So I decided to take Jellys mind out of it. We were again busy with the snow man, when I heard a branch snap. My head snaps to the left, and see Jughead standing 20 feet away from me with a smirk and a teddy bear in his hand.

I laugh at him, and everything was fine. Until I heard a loud crack behind me.

I stand up quickly and look behind me. And there she was, little Jellybean standing in the middel of sweetwater river, with cracks surounding the ice.

She is shaking from fear, and starts crying and yelling for her daddy or juggy. I see Jughead sprinting towards us, but he is never going to make it on time. And I think he knows it to.

But I can't let annything happend to her. She is so small, she is going to survive lobger then 20 seconds in that water. I can't let that happend, I just can't.

So without any good thinking about it, I take a sprint towards the ice.

I run now on the ice, and I hear loud cracks beneath me, but all I see and hear right now is jelly and her creis fro help.

I was there just in time to pull her away to the shore before the ice gives up, and the water swallows me.

First I feel the pain of the cold water. But the second I hit the water, I try to fight it. I try to break the suddenly thick ice that is laying on top of me, but I can't I'm to weak.

Soon enough, the cold water numbs my body, and I get to weak to even move. My lungs are desparet for ocxigent, and I fele nothing in my body. Everything is numb, and I feel my eyes close.

But right before they do, I see suddenly a light in the noramlly black water, and then i see his face. Aww my Juggy, I smile a little and let my eyes drop, with a picture of my boyfriend right before my eyes.

It felt like everything was in slow motion, one moment everything was perfect. The other I see my four year old sister crying on ice that are about to crack.

I try to sprint, but I know that I'm bever going to make it on time. Betty looks at me panicking, she knows it too. I'm never going to make it on time.

Then suddenly, Betty makes a sprint towards the ice. I stop for a second in shock, and then start running as a maniac again.

Then I see something horrific. My betty runs to my sister, she pushes her to the side and before anyone can register what is happning she falls trough the ice. My betty.

I scream her name, and sprint even harder then I did before, soon I'm at the edge of the river. I don't know what to do. If I go to the side were she went trough, I'm just diving into the water too. Somehow I need to get her, to the stong Ice side of the river.

I walk on the good side of the river and suudenly hear numbed tumping under me. I jump in shock and look down, there I see her my Betty weakly stomping on the strong ice, I see her arms getting weaker and her body getting deeper into the cold water.

Without hassitating I start to punch the ice. I see blood from my hand, but the pain is numbed from the cold of the ice and the water I can already see.

And before I know it, there is a pretty big whole in the ice. And I see my betty, trying to hold her eyes open. I grab her by the armpits and pull her out of the water.

I pick her up in my arms, and lay her on the solid ground. Her eyes close, and her breathing is way too slow. I give her mouth to mouth, and after what felt like and enternity, water comes out of her mouth and she cpughes a lot.

I admidietly pull her on her side, and let her cough. I hear sobbing next to me and see Jelly, now with her teddy bear sobbing, while looking at me with sorry eyes.

I pull her in my arms trying to calm her down. It's okay jelly, she is alright. No worries baby. I say to her and she nods at me sadly.

After a few minutes of Betty voughing and trying to get her breath steady, I'm now holding her in my arms whiles hse shaked from the cold and clinges to me.

Luckily I was just on time. Because otherwise this would've been a different story. But here I'm with my sister sitting infront of the tv, and my love sitting on my lap cuddeld into a fluffy blanket, while hugging me.
