Jughead walked into a big ball room filled with people. Most of them were pretty well known, considering this was a ball for quote on quote ‘famous’ people. Jughead was a pretty well known book author, which is how he got an invite to the party in the first place. He wore a nice black suit with a white undershirt and some matching black shoes. He looked around at the room and smiled softly. It definitely looked like fun and he always did love decorations.

Betty was nervous like always, even though she was seen as a good actress now. Everytime she was invited to any form of event, she felt the anxiety creep up in her. she closed the little Mirror she had in her hand, and opened the door from the uber. She stepped onto the street and soon opened the two big glass doors, the loud music filled her ears as she looked around. Admiring the party that was going on already.

Jughead walked over to the table with the drinks, taking a cup of liquor and taking a sip. He turned to the doors and saw a young woman with blonde hair. She looked familiar. Had he seen her somewhere before? Well, if she was at this party she must be famous or successful. Had he seen her in a magazine somewhere? Or maybe on tv?

Betty smiled as she looked around, the red dress that she was wearing flowed after her as she walked through the room. She went to the bar and ordered a glass of white wine for Herself, as she waited she felt a pair of eyes in the back of her head making her turn her head. She looked around and quickly found the pair of ocean bleu eyes, her breath stopped for a second as she stared at him.

Jughead started at her for a few brief seconds, although it felt like hours to him before looking away from her emerald green eyes. He felt as if he looked into them for too long he would start drowning in them. She..felt too familiar. Not like if you had seen a celebrity on tv and then saw them in real life, but as someone he had known before. Like he had met her when he was younger. Maybe he had and maybe that’s why he remembered her. But then..who was she?

She grabbed her glass of whine, and before thinking about it too much she started walking in his direction. Her curls falling over her shoulders as the sound of her high heels hit the floor. She knew him, she knew those eyes, maybe not his name anymore...but she will never forget those eyes.

Jughead heard the sound of heels clacking against the floor and he turned to see the blonde making her way over to him. Oh no, was she going to tell him off or call him a creep? She didn’t seem mad though, more like intrigued.

She soon was at his side, she placed the glass on the table next to them and smiled at him. "Maybe this will sound very weird but uhm...I feel like we have met before" she said to him, her voice soft as it's filled with anxiety.

He looked down at her, him being about a few inches taller than her, smiling softly. “I feel like that too. What’s your name?” He asked, placing his cup down next to her glass, smiling gently.

"Elizabeth cooper, but most people know me as Betty" she says, a smile on her face as she knew that voice...yes it had become deeper by the years, but she knew it.

As soon as she said her name, his heart swelled up and a bright smile appeared on his face. He felt like an idiot. How could he have forgotten her?? He quickly wrapped his arms around her, pulling her to his chest and holding her tightly. “Betty..” he whispered softly, resting his head on hers. “It’s me..Jughead.”
