I awoke to an empty bed.  I grabbed my phone checking the time when I seen a text from Kade.

Good morning beautiful...  I had to go help Damon in the garage today.  I'll see you tonight.  I love you baby!

I couldn't help but smile.  I loved this boy so much.

I love you more!  Don't work too hard ; )-

I got out of bed and made my way to the kitchen to get a glass of sweet tea.  Aspen was on the front porch drinking coffee, where I joined her.  I sat down and pulled my hair into a bun.

"Someone looks like they slept well."  Aspen said taking a sip of coffee.

"Absolutely."  I answered with a smile.

"I'm so glad you're getting on with you're life, but I'm sad to see you go."

"I'm not very far.  You'll have to come over and have a girl's night with me.  My door is always open to you, you know that."

"I could use a break sometimes."  She huffed a little.

    "Trouble in paradise?"

"I just get so sick of the parties all the time.  Sometimes I wish we could just curl up on the couch and watch a movie.  Sometimes I think Cameron's afraid to be alone with me.  He treats me great, but I'd like to go on a date... alone.  Ya know?"

"I totally get what you mean.  That's part of the reason I'm moving out.  Those parties get on my nerves!"  I laughed.  "I guess I've played out the whole party scene already.  Don't get me wrong, I love getting everyone together once in a while, but this is every weekend shit and half the people I don't even know blows."

"Maybe one day he'll get burnt out of the whole party scene."

"Have you talked to him about it?" I asked.

"I've mentioned it a couple times."

"Well, I'll make sure he hears me loud and clear."  I said taking a sip of my tea.

"Thanks for letting me vent, Ev."

"That's what best friends are for.  Now, let's go shopping for you an outfit for this date, and for stuff for my house."

Five hours later, I had every dish and household item I could possibly think of.  We were carrying everything into my new house.  We were wore out from our day.  I was starting to get worried about Kade because he still hasn't  answered me back from the text I sent this morning.  I did not want to be a clingy girlfriend and bug him.  I had a gut feeling that something was off.  I hope he's not hurt.  His mom or no one had my number to let me know if anything was wrong.  I need to fix that the next time I see her.

    "What's wrong, Ev?"

"I'm starting to worry a little about Kade.  I haven't heard from him all day.  I hope everything's alright."

"I'm sure it is.  You know how guys get when they are around cars... we become second priority."  Aspen laughed shaking her head.

   "You're right."  I laughed.

We made it back to her house before it looked like a frat house.  We carried in the clothes and things we had bought.

"Cam, can I talk to you for a minute?"  I asked as we stood in the living room.

"Sure."  He said following me to my room.  I shut the door.

"What are your plans for tonight?"

"The same as always I guess.  Why?"

"Wrong.  Change of plans.  Your or going to go in there and ask your girlfriend if she would like to go on a date with you.  You can take her out to eat and the movie she wants to see starts at ten."

"Okay... What brought this on?  Is it our anniversary or something?"  He said looking nervous.

"No, it's not your anniversary.  She is almost as sick of these parties as I am.  During our girl's day today, I was informed that she would like some alone time with you.  She said she would be happy just curling up with you on the couch and watching a movie.  But we are going to take it one step further and you are going to take her out."

"I'm on it!  I'm gonna date the shit out of her tonight.  Thanks, Ev!"  Cameron said as he ran out of my room in search of his girlfriend.

A few minutes later, there was a knock at my door.  "Ev, can you do my hair and makeup for... My date tonight!"  Aspen broke out in a victory dance.

She wore the cute little dark blue dress and black heels she bought today.  I pulled her red hair half up and did the rest in loose curls.  We did a smoky eye look to match her dress.  She was so excited to be going out.  I was so happy that Cameron was excited to make her happy.

Aspen and Cameron left for their date.  Zander had a few friends over and decided to stick to beer.  I laid in my bed and decided to find something to watch on Netflix.  My eyes began to feel very heavy as I tried to decide what to watch.  I hope Kade made it back soon.
