"I'm getting my bags out now."  I said grabbing my over night bag.  I was at the airport getting ready to fly to Chicago to meet with Mr. Vance.  He wants to show me A new project that he wants me to do pictures for.

"Great! Text me when you take off so there will be a car waiting for you when you land."  Sara, my publicist, said.

"Will do.  See you in a few hours, Sara."  I said hanging up my phone.

"Miss me, love?"  A familiar voice said making the hair on the back of my neck stand on end as the bile rose in my throat.

                                                                GAUGE

"Done"  I said as I unloaded the last of my things.  After finding out I was going to be a dad, I decided to break tradition and move in with Everleigh.  She left this morning to go to Chicago for her work.  I should be getting a call anytime saying she landed safely.

After spending a couple more hours emptying boxes, I checked my phone.  I was beginning to get really worried.

"Her flight has been delayed."  I said to myself.

I walked out to the garage to put away my fishing gear when I hear gravel popping, announcing I have company.  When I look up and see the Sheriff's cruiser my heart hits my stomach.  I walk up to him quickly.

"What is it?"  I ask already knowing something's wrong.

"A lady named Sara called to report Everleigh missing.  She said she was on the phone with her while she was unloading her bags at the airport.  When she was informed by the airline that Everleigh never got on the plane, she called me."

"Fuck!" I said as I tried calling Everleigh.

    "Hello?"  A male voice answered.

    "Who the fuck is this?"

"I'm  Deputy Moore with the Lake County Sheriff's office.  Who am I speaking to?"

"Gauge Whimbley.  Everleigh's  fiancée.  The Sheriff is with me now let me put it on speaker."

    "What do you got, deputy?"

"Sir, we have located her truck.  Her purse, phone and suitcase were all laying beside it.  There is a message that appears to be wrote in blood on the side window."

"What does it say?"  The Sheriff asked.  I had lost my ability to speak.

"She's mine.  It says 'she's mine', sir."

"Call me as soon as you have anything else."  He said before I ended the call.

"Cameron, he's got her.  He fucking got Everleigh!"  I said as I collapsed to my knees.  He ended the call before he said anything.  I knew they would be here soon.

                                                      EVERLEIGH

When I opened my eyes everything was dark.  There was something over my head.  My hands were tied behind my back.  My feet were bound together.  I could smell gas.  I was in a moving vehicle.  I stayed still.  My head was killing me.  He must have knocked me out, I don't remember.
