"C'mon iz, we should leave to." Mum said opening the front door, half an hour later, to see me still standing there, staring at the corner where they disappeared from my sight.

She hugged me for a few seconds but let go when I grumbled,

"Fine let me get my iPod." and started looking for it.

"Hurry up! His flight arrives in five minutes!" mum was getting annoyed at me.

"But I can't find my iPod!" I complained.

Then I remembered I had my IPhone now.

Which made me think of everyone having fun without me.

Which almost made me cry.

I hopped in the car in a gloomy mood.

Mum tried to lighten the mood saying things like "don't worry honey, you'll see them sooner then you think." And "time flies when you think of all the fun times your gunna have when you see them again."

The drive to the airport was boring, a whole half an hour of nothing.

So, to pass the time, I added songs and games to my IPhone from the apps store.

Eventually I tired of this so, for the fun of It I decided to log into twitter.

Driving to the airport. To pick up my uncle. I tweeted

I instantly got a reply from maddie.

@Madzigogo: check ur back pocket bbygirl.

I checked my pocket. There was an envelope in there.

Funny I don't remember putting that in there.

"What's this?" I asked myself opening it.

"Oh. My. God!" I squealed. There in the envelope was a ticket to Brisbane, but that wasn't it, there was also a note.

Haha it read.

We had you fooled izzy. You thought we didn't want you didn't you?

I flatly refuse to sing unless you're there, so don't let the fans down.

The girls probably miss you already so you better not let them down

Either, got it? Hope to see you in Brisbane.

Shaun.

"Mum?" I asked "did you know anything about this?" showing her my ticket

"Of course I did! After all I was the one who payed for it." She laughed and messed up my hair. "And I packed all your clothes and what you'll need, I promise, anything I missed ill mail to you ok? Just tell me."

For once I was lost for words.

I couldn't think of anything to say.

I was wanted on tour; they just wanted to surprise me.

"What time does the plane leave?" I asked curiously, examining the ticket to make sure it was real.

"Your plane leaves in an hour." Mum replied, driving into a car park at the airport.

We got out of the car and walked into the airport.

"Which terminal did they book it for?" mum asked curiously

"Umm," I said examining the ticket "Qantas, I think."

"Ok," she said, "I think I know where to go." She started leading the way.

"Mum?" I had to ask her a vital question.

"Yeah honey?" she replied, not looking at me.

"Where's all my stuff? I mean you said you packed it, so where is it?" I was lost, if I was going somewhere, I wanted more then one set of clothes.

"The others took your luggage with them." She laughed, finally turning into the qantas terminal.

"Oh" I said, feeling really stupid.

We checked in and went looking for two seats together.

Eventually we found some and sat down.

Finally mum turned to me, tears in her eyes. "Oh iz, i'm really going to miss you. I feel so lonely when you're not home, now that your fathers left me I have to cope by myself. I don't know how i'm going to cope. And now my baby's leaving me." She hugged me tight.

"Mum, it will be okay, I promise." I didn't know when I'd see her again or if things really would be ok.

I guess I could only hope for the best.

We hugged for a few minutes, not saying anything, just revelling in each other's company.

When the call came for me to board I started to cry, mums tears never really stopped so they became more frequent.

"I'm really gunna miss you mum." I said kissing her cheek "I'll be back soon, faster then you think."

"I know. But I still can't believe you're leaving me, my baby's all grown up." She said, smiling a watery smile at me, then kissing my cheek.

I pulled away then started walking towards the gate.

When I boarded the plane I stared out the window towards the terminal.

Mum was there waving at me, still crying.

I loved her so much right then. She was letting me go and have fun with my friends, while she stayed at home by herself.

I hope she found someone who would keep her company, who would love her like I did.
