Laura Pov
It was a warm Friday night and I was getting ready to go on my date with Ross. I was trying to figure out what to wear since he had chosen where the date was going to be usually I never let the guy pick the place where the date is because they always suggest take-out and then a nightcap to watch “movie” which is never the real reason why they want to be alone with me. However, given that Ross has never had a girlfriend – yeah I know he has never had a first girlfriend most people just know that he has never had a serious girlfriend but no, Ross lynch had never a girlfriend like ever. He does keep the illusion that he’s been around… but no Clueless Lynch is completely inexperienced in that area so I doubt he will go for anything more than a make-out and he seems like genuine good guy. He’s not like the typical assholes or jerks I’ve gone with before, he’s sweet and very good-looking Hannah picked a good one for the bet. I’m pretty sure once this all over, he just brag about the good times he had with Queen Bee Marano like every other guy before him. Sure, he’ll probably hate me but eh I can live with that, he’s an easy task to complete.
I heard my phone beep and went over to my nightstand to pick up and saw that Ross had texted me had he would be here in 10 minutes. I quickly grabbed my outfit that was laid out on my bed and started looking for my medium wedges, I needed the height since he was pretty tall.
I heard the doorbell ring and I quickly looked for my small purse in my room and then headed downstairs. I opened the door to find Ross standing leaning against the frame of my front porch with his hands in pockets, waiting for me. I let out a small chuckle that made him notice my presence. He just stared at me with a wide-eyed expression. I got a bit self-conscious at the moment until he started speaking.
“You look very beautiful.” He said as he extended his arm for me to take so that we could head over to his car.
“Thanks.” I said and I felt the heat rise a bit in my cheeks. Wait did I just blush? Damn it! I kept my head down hoping that he wouldn’t notice it. I noticed him eye-ing from the sides of his vision and he had a goofy grin on his face. He opened the door to his car for me and let me in but right before he shut the door he said.
“You look cute when you blush.” He winked making me blush harder. Damn it! He came around the other side of the car and stepped in, I just turned away trying to make myself less red in the face. He was just looking at me with big smile.
“So where we going?” I asked trying to make him stop staring at me.
“It’s a surprise.” He said cheery. Surprise, I don’t like surprises they always end up being bad for me.
“I’m not really fan of surprises.”
“Trust me. You’ll like this surprise.” He said and drove off to where their date was going to be.
Throughout the car ride Ross and Laura glanced at each other, well it more like Ross was looking at her and she would just giggle when she caught him. The radio was playing to fill in any awkward silence that could occur but it more like peaceful silence that filled the air.

They had finally arrived to their destination, Ross was finishing parking the car as Laura was looking around amused the by bright shiny lights and catchy but annoying carnival music. She loved the scenery plus it was place to have fun and play games, her father took her once when she was five and it was only for hour but she had the best time ever that day because she got to spend with her dad. It was probably one of the best father-daughter moments of her childhood that she remembers. She had gotten caught up reminiscing about her childhood that she didn’t notice when Ross had come over to her side and opened the door for her, motioning for her to get out.
