Chapter 2

Throughout the day, numerous girls flirted with Ross and countless guys asked Laura out. Either one of them agreed to go out with someone on date, for Ross it was normal to turn down a girl.

But for Laura, it was definitely a first, not going out with new guy. There was something on her mind, something was bothering her more than usual but she couldn't quite figure it out just yet.

Laura Pov

I sat in English totally spaced out from the lesson, we were reading Romeo & Juliet by Shakespeare. Oh how I loved romance novels!

The idea that you sacrifice yourself in order for you to be with your soulmate is so adorable. There is no point of living if the one you love is no longer there. Ah (sighs dreamily ) love like that is completely hard to find.

All these guys constantly ask me out and want to take me on dates. At first it's seems  fun and goes well but as soon we are 2 hours into the date, the start to kiss me roughly and place their hand on thigh.

Indicating that they want something more from me, they all just want to have sex with me so that they can later tell their buddies that the great Queen Bee Marano was finally tamed.

Oh joy (sarcasm)

Where's the romance? Where's sacrifice for love that you make?

I remember a guy once had setup a date in the park, we were having a picnic just there laughing and joking around when he said "so you want to do this here or in my car?"

I was so shocked at words because I thought he really cared about me, it took him 3 weeks until I finally agreed to go out with him. I really liked him and I thought he did too, until he broke my heart that is.

I never agreed to have sex with him, Out of anger I dumped the drink on him and ran home. Once I finally reached my house, I ran up my room bursted into tears and cried myself to sleep that night.

But I want to find a guy would will sweep me off my feet and make our first date unforgettable or lay on the grass with me watching the stars and just talking all nightlong.

I want to find my soulmate, my true love. But I don't think I'll find him here. 😔 (sadly sighs )

"Lauraaaa"

I stopped zoning out as I realize that my friend Hannah was calling my name.

"Huh?" I turn around and notice that I was the only one in the room, when did class end?

"So are you going to sit there? Or we going to leave?" She asked looking at me.

"Oh yeah, come on let's go find the others." I grabbed my bag and walked out the classroom heading towards the rest of my girls.

"Hey Laura, we were just talking about hitting the mall after school. Wanna come with?" Jenny said to me with excitement.

"Hmm. I don't know it's Thursday and I still have assignments due." I said biting my lip a bit.

I might be the schools most wanted girl by guys but I also hold the schools highest GPA. I like school it's important to me.

"Come on, Laura. Please!!! Nick is having a party tomorrow I need a new outfit." Jenny said begging to go.

"Fine. I'll go."

I sighed in defeat knowing I need a new wardrobe for tomorrow night I agreed to go. Plus it was only 3pm so I had time for work later.

"Yes! Now come on let's go. ST. Thomas all boys school is almost out and you know they need there daily dose of smoothies!" 😏 My friend Isabel squealed with excitement while pulling us all towards the exit and my car.

Now let me tell you, Isabel is Boy-crazy. Once she sees a cute boy she completely forgets her surroundings. I think she might have a disease of boy fever or something like that because they're her greatest weakness and biggest distraction.

"Izzy your going to break my arm with all that pulling!" I said with a loud voice and ended up laughing.

"sorry it's just -"

"You wanna see cute boys we know." We said in unison.

"great now come on." She said pushing us all in the car.

"Okay okay, to the mall we go." I said chuckling and starting my car.

Ross Pov

"Dude, do you think we can hit the mall before we go your house?" Jake asked me once we got in my car.

"Uh. Yeah sure, but why do wanna go to mall?" I asked he never goes to mall because he hates the loud noises coming from little kids around. He only goes to pick up 'hot chicks' as he calls them.

"Mom wants a cake for my sister's celebration that she's going to college." He said glumly because he is forced to be there at the dinner party.

"Oh okay."

"So... we're going to the Mall at your house?" Greg asked completely lost as usual.

That boy is always in his own little world, it makes me wonder why I am friends with him sometimes? Or more like how am I friends with him? When did our friendship start? How did we-

My thoughts were cut off by Jake.

"Bro, you okay? you seem a little out of it?" Jake asked since I hadn't started the car and I was just staring into space.

"Um yeah, let's go to Mall."
