5.Date?

It was 2 weeks since Jin was coming over to Namjoon's and play with Jiyoo. He had grown quite attached to the toddler and always looked at her like she was his own. Namjoon was also very happy that his daughter could be so so comfortable with someone other than him. Not to mention, he was also happy to see Jin everyday. They were both coming definitely closer day by day. But there was reluctance in their behaviour ever since the mall incident. It was like they both wanted to ask something but always succeeded in stopping themselves.

Call it clichè, but it was a complete coincidence that Namjoon found jin on the exact cafe they met quite a few times when it was nearly closing time. The older was sipping his hot chocolate and checking something out on his pink laptop. His hair was slightly dishevelled and as he sipped his drink, some of the chocolate stuck to his bottom lip. And damn! Namjoon couldn't help but imagine how delicious those sinful lips would be if they were on his own lips. How hypnotizing his moans would sound when- stop it namjoon! Namjoon stopped his train of thoughts and went over to the black haired male.

Of course the other was happy on seeing the younger but he had to attend an important meet for all the cancer specialists in South Korea. He was invited too and of course he couldn't just cancel saying his crush just came to him outta nowhere and he's not gonna leave him for something as important as attending a special meet. So, he just quickly greeted the man before excusing himself out of the shop.

Namjoon was bewildered to say the least. He thought maybe he had done something wrong that's why the other is ignoring him. So rather than waiting for the other and talk to him when he gets a chance, he went to his best friends' for advice. It was the question of his possible love so why Not?

"But I really like him!", whined namjoon, sulking on his friends' couch.

He was currently in Tae and Kook's house, complaining about how he likes Jin and how he always stops himself from asking him out.

"Then what's the problem, hyung? If you really like him then just ask him out. If he says no that I hardly believe will but if he does than just think that he's not the one for you. And if he says yes then-","Bingo! Just make out with him then and ther-", taehyung pinched jungkook abruptly to get him to stop. Jungkook let out an over exaggerated yelp and Namjoon could only smile at their antics. He always wanted to have such relationship with his life partner. And his smile turned into a sad smiled as he looked down chuckling at his misery.

This caught the couple's attention and they looked over at the elder with sad eyes. Taehyung went over to him and sat down beside him, putting his hand on his shoulder. Namjoon looked to his side and smiled reassuringly. Taehyung glanced at jungkook, who nodded enthusiastically with a soft smile playing on his lips.

"Why are you trying to stop yourself from taking the first step, Joonie?", taehyung asks and Namjoon knows taehyung only calls him that if he's deeply concerned.

"I'm scared, taehyung-ah", he whispers softly, leaning his head on the younger's shoulder. Taehyung lets him.

"Why are you scared? He's literally an angel. He's everything you've ever needed and everything you'll ever need. He's mature, kind, handsome and he loves your daughter and you too", Namjoon looks at Jungkook at his sentence, confused. And the youngest continues," Yes he does, hyung. I'm sure he does. Hoseokie hyung told me about how Kim talks about you all the time and his eyes sparkle upon hearing your name", Namjoon blushes at this before making an 'O' shaped mouth as he realized that the trio jin always talked about.

"What if he leaves me? L-like her?", Namjoon stuttered. Jungkook got up from his seat and over to namjoon. He kneeled down in front of him and called him softly. "Hyung, she left you because of your kid but he loves your kid! And you! Maybe she never loved you because trust me if she did, she would've never left you just because of your precious ball of happiness. He's not her, hyung. He's himself, who loves you". Namjoon had tears in his eyes, upon hearing the younger's words of wisdom. He hugged the couple tightly before thanking them and giving taekook a quick goodbye kiss on the cheek.

He went home and quickly dialed Jin's number. He wanted to cut the call when Jin didn't reply after a few rings. He was really nervous but as he went to cut the call, Jin picked up.

"Hi, um..it's me.", Namjoon said awkwardly.

Jin chuckled before answering. "I know it's you, Joon. Something important?"

Namjoon gasped as he nearly forgot why he called because of jin's honey voice and cute chuckle. "Y-yeah sorry! And it's important...I mean not really...I mean it is- for me but it can be for you too...I mean it's not forceful...but if you umm...you don't have to but-"

"What is it, joon? Relax", Jin cut Namjoon off and he couldn't stop giggling at how awkward the younger sounded.

"Ok! So, do you umm..do you wanted to go out? Like you and me, alone?"he blurted out.

"As a Date?", Jin asked consciously.

"As a Date." Namjoon said, surprisingly confident.

"Well, ok then. Pick me up at 7 tomorrow evening!", the black haired replied happily.

"Ok! I can't wait!", Namjoon squealed like a kid.

"Same here", the other replied and cut the phone with a sweet 'bye, Joon'.

Jin couldn't content his happiness as he cut the phone. He turned with a squeal only to find three grown up men looking at him and smirking knowingly.

"What? It's just a date", he replied with a huff and a light red hue on his cheeks.

"Yeah and I'm going to get you ready for your 'just a date' ",jimin ordered sternly as he couldn't control his mischevious smile from forming on his lips.

"Ok, fine!", Jin replied in defeat and the three men just laughed at his antics.

He was finally going to be happy after that tragic incident that stopped him from believing in love. He still had one fear which he wished Namjoon would acknowledge. But that wasn't Important now. What was important was his date with the blonde. And he couldn't be happier.

On the other side, Namjoon was on top of the world. Well, of course! Who wouldn't be if their crush has just agreed to a date? A first date on top of that! You have all the reasons to be excited. Namjoon was the same. Now he was really excited to find more about the man he has fantasized about all these days. He himself couldn't believe how affectionate he has grown towards the elder. He remembered the day when Jin was crying softly in the bathroom when he came over but he couldn't do anything. But that was now going to change. Namjoon will make sure he never cries again, atleast not because of sadness. He never wanted to see tears in those chocolate orbs. He made a decision to protect the man at all costs and call him 'his' one day. He smiled as he realized something. He was surely in indescribable love with Jin. Or as he wants to call, 'his' Jinnie.
