12. Conflicted (M)

WARNING: This chapter contains mild smut, close to none so you can skip the flashback part. But it isn't necessary coz it has some fluff too. You'll know when smut starts and when it ends. I recommend you to read the last 3 or 4 paras of the flashback coz those are important.

It wasn't a happy Sunday. Atleast not for namjoon. Jiyoo had gone to the zoo with Jae and his parents so he could rest a bit after a long week. Jin was in the hospital again, just like the past few days. Talking about Jin, it has been a month since he moved in with namjoon. But these past few days, namjoon has a feeling that jin has been acting more distant. He doesn't want to believe that jin is avoiding him but he knows better. Was it something he did before?

~Flashback~

It was a national holiday. Jin was outside watering the plants. And namjoon being the whipped man he is, he was smiling at jin with a hot chocolate in his hand through the transparent window. The weather was gloomy but beautiful nonetheless. It looked like it would pour any time.

After a few minutes, the rain started pouring down suddenly. Namjoon was just going to grab an umbrella for the elder when he heard squeal. He looked towards the window where jin was. He broke into his dimpled smile when Jin started smiling and jumping into the puddles that were slowly formed.

He jumped a bit higher and fell on his butt. Namjoon got worried but jin just laughed so he laughed with the elder too. An ounce of admiration in his beautiful sparkly eyes. What he was doing looked like fun. But he could catch a cold or a fever! So being the protective boyfriend he is, namjoon grabbed two umbrellas and went outside.

"Jin! What are you doing? Come here, you'll catch a cold!", namjoon scolded when he reached besides the elder. "But, joonie, it's fun!", Jin said as he went under the umbrella with namjoon and started kissing him intently.

As soon as Jin found namjoon melting into the kiss, his lips twitched into an evil smile as he quickly snatched the umbrellas from the younger's hand, throwing them aside. Namjoon was bewildered but he let the black haired man pull him in the rain with him.

Namjoon looked at their intertwined hands and looked at his boyfriend. He looked so mysterious like this, letting the pearly raindrops fall on his beautiful face. He was smiling like crazy, enjoying the rain as if it was his first time seeing something so incredible.
