Nicks POV
I got to the hospital and ran in. After I checked in I sprinted to the room and saw Emily.
"1 year you've been gone. I missed you so much." I say. I hug her tightly and kiss her.
"I love you, Nick."
"I love you too, Emily."
"I- I need to tell you something." I start.
"What?" Her face suddenly is worried.
"It's Jason. 6 months ago, he 'kidnapped' me and took me 100 miles into the middle of nowhere. He beat me so bad I was on life support for 3 weeks. He's been sending me threats. You're the only one that knows this." I explain quickly. Shock appears on her face.
"Well now 2 people know. Wow, I never thought Jason would do that." A voice- Adam said. Adam runs up and hugs Emily and smiles at her.
"I missed you, kiddo." Adam admits.
"I missed you too, bro." Emily laughs.
"Can you Call Jason, Adam?" Emily asks.
"Ok." Adam replies and leaves to go give Jason a call.
"How did you make it back?" She asks, still worried.
"Well, I managed to crawl in the back of his truck and jumped out when he was at a red light close to town." I tell her. She looks disappointed. Then Jason walked in.
"I'm gonna go call Amelia and Kate." I say walking out, and glaring at Jason as I leave.
Emily's POV
Time to have a little talk with Jason.
"You have some explaining to do." Jason rolled his eyes.
"Nick." I reminded Jason.
"I taught him a lesson." He says it like it makes perfect sense.
"If I had wanted him to get shot I wouldn't have jumped in front of him. You're a selfish jackass! I hate you!" I screamed, and I was tearing up. He looks genuinely hurt.
"I once loved you, ya know? I loved you so much, and then you obviously found someone else! Then, you broke my best friends heart! Next, you beat up my boyfriend once I finally moved on?! LEAVE. NOW." I yelled angrily. He stood shocked and left without another word.
Then Amelia and Kate showed up. And better yet, they saw the whole thing.
"Hey Em." Kate said as they tip toed in the room. Amelia smiled.
"I can't believe you're ok!" Amelia rushes to give Emily another hug. Emily laughs and hugs her back along with Kate.
"So, what'd I miss?" Emily asks.
