I think this is the last chapter. Shiz is gonna hit the fan! There will be a sequel... Maybe.
Tyler's POV
"What happened?!" A female voice that's familiar screams.
"He is in the process of complying." A thing answers.
"He was in a mother fucking coma! What is this anyway?! Comply?! What does it even mean?!" The female screeches.
"It means he will agree and will happily work for us." The thing angrily clarifies.
"So you're killing his memories?" She whispers sadly.
"Yes."
"Well, not on my watch." The female claims and then there is a loud noise. I realize I have a blind fold on when the girl takes it off of my face.
"Tyler! Are you ok?" Emily asks worriedly
"Fine. What just happened? Where are we?" I panic.
"I'll explain later. We need to go, now." She quickly tells me. She grabs my hand and pulls me towards a door, through another door, and then an exit door.
"Adam has a car for us." Emily reassures me. We sneak through and find Adam in a rental.
"What happened?" Is the first thing Adam asks.
"I had to use force." She informs him, "They wanted to make him comply. However they did heal the bullet wound well. Also, the man that tried to stop me from taking Tyler was..."
"Who?" Now even I'm curious.
"It was... Nick."
"Mom is in there." Adam trails off.
"What?! Mom is dead!!" Emily yells.
"No she's not. She said she saw things and wanted to comply, so she would forget." He says. Silence. Until Emily starts crying. Adam is driving so he can't do much, so I hug her from behind.
"Did she tell you what she saw?" Emily continues to interrogate him and he sighs.
"Yes."
"So it didn't work?" I clarify.
"Yeah."
~an hour later~
Adams POV
After filling in Tyler, Emily went to her room and Tyler kinda passed out on the couch. I went to comfort my little sister and ran up the stairs. Slowly, I opened the door to her room, walked in and sat next to her on the bed.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm afraid."
"Of what?"
"Life, I guess. I am afraid of hurting people and getting hurt and of everyone else getting hurt and-" She sobs.
"Emily, are you really going to let fear control your life?"
"Geez, have you been watching Frozen recently?"
"Maybe." I answer with a laugh.
3rd person (This is what Emily told Tyler about her powers)
"So what are your so called 'powers'?" Tyler asks.
"Well..."
