Kate's POV

I walked up the steps to his house and pounded on the front door. I heard foot steps and when he came out he screamed,

"What?!" Then he sees me and his expression softens.

"Are you the reason they left?" I try to sound loud and confident but it comes out as a whisper.

"I don't know what your talking about." He says innocently.

"You broke my best friend. You thought you were doing something good for her don't you? Well, he's gone now, and she's just... broken. When I talk to her its like talking to an answering machine (for old school phones). You just broke her you bastard!!" I yell accusingly.

"I don't have to deal with your shiz." He calmly states before slamming the door. But, I opened it up again.

"YOU SERIOUSLY SLAPPED MY BEST FRIEND SO HARD SHE BLED!! YOU TORE APART MY BEST FRIEND FROM THE LOVE OF HER LIFE!! YOU BEAT NICK SO BAD HE COULD'VE DIED!! AND YOUR TELLING ME YOU DONT WANT TO PUT UP WITH MY SHIT?!!" I shout, clearly pissed off.

"I did nothing wrong! And Nick is not the 'love of her life', I am!" Jason claims.

"Clearly not because a good boyfriend wouldn't slap her best friend, wouldn't chase off the guy she's in love with, and wouldn't tell her you love her and then when she came back from college have a girlfriend!! YOU BROKE HER HEART 2 TIMES AND YOU DONT EVEN KNOW IT!!" I yammer (I'm starting to like that word).

"Sure! I bet if I go over to her place and she'll be all over me!" He bets.

"Fine. Try." I dare him.

"I will." He claims and we leave the house

Emily's POV

What should I do now?

I do have a job interview.

Maybe I should get ready for that.

But I can't.

I've never felt this empty before.

I can't cry, I'm dry of tears.

I miss him so much though.

Maybe I should go on YouTube.

I should make another video.

I have 50,000 subscribers, maybe I should talk to them again.

I use to all the time.

I should do something to forget about everything for now.

But what?

A knock at the door interrupts my thoughts.

I stand up and look through the peep hole when I get to the door.

Jason.

Great.

"What do you want?" I greet him when I open the door.

"I'm sorry that Nick left."

"Bite me bitch." I say coldly right before I slam the door in his face.

My phone buzzes.

Text message from Jason.

J: Jason E: Emily

J: Can I have another chance?

E: Maybe you think I've only give you one chance, but in my head it's been three.

J: I'm sorry.

E: Yeah right. That's why you were sending death threats

J: I have a reason! I just... I'm not allowed to tell you...

E: Great. Bye. See ya never I hope.

J: I love you.

I didn't know how to respond.
