How it all began

A/N~ First fanfic hype!

You lay in bed, your eyes wide open. Like most nights, you can't sleep. Your bedroom is now light as the sun shines through window, hitting your tired eyes. You hear a loud beeping noise you know too well, you groan as you reach over turn off your irritating alarm off. You sigh as you sit up, throwing your (f/c) blanket off of your tired body. 

Your (e/c) eyes wander around your room and land on your calender, you walk over and check the date to see what you have in stall for the day. A wide smile forms on your face as you read the words 'meet Ze at Marco's Café, 1:30'. You glance at your phone for the time, "9:07" you inform yourself "at least I've got time to make myself look at least half decent". You and Ze have been friends since you were children but you haven't seen each other for 4 years today since you had to move outside of Sacramento.

You stumble through to your flats bathroom and turn shower on. Once the water is warm enough, you get in. As you were washing your hair, you think about how you met Ze..

~~flashback~~

Your in elementary school. You walk into your sickeningly yellow classroom and take your seat by the window. You draw like usual until your concentration is interrupted by your teacher, Miss Ackerman, talking.

"Alright class, settle down" she says as all your classmates take their assigned seats. "We have a new student today so all give him a nice warm welcome! His name is Steven and he's moved here from Canada." She turns towards the door and brunette boy slowly walks into the classroom.

"Hello" he almost whispers, he looks down at the floor. Miss Ackerman smiled sweetly at the clearly nervous boy and says "you can take a seat next to (y/n), shes over there with the (h/c) hair next to the window". He nods his head walks over to you.

You didn't realy pay attention to anything Miss Ackerman had said, you just want to draw! You turn your head when you hear the words "hello" next to you. Your (e/c) eyes lock with a pair of green ones.

"Hi." you say nervously.

"Is it ok if i sit here?" the boy points to the seat on your right.

"Sure."

"Thanks."

You and the boy sit in silence for a bit, you decide to continue drawing to take your mind off of the uncomfortable situation. Your drawing of your favourite animal (f/a) is nearly complete, you're now colouring it. You keep glancing over to the boy, he's also drawing, from what you see, it looks like a Viking. 

"Erm, can I borrow your red colouring pencil please?" The boy shyly asked.

You turn to him and nod your head, you're a really shy person so you never really talk much. You grab the red pencil and shakily hand it to him, as he grabs it, your hands touch. You both blush awkwardly.

"Thanks.." He says as he starts to colour in the helmet with your pencil. You just smile as a response. "I'm Ze, well, Steven.."

"I'm (y/n)."

"I like your drawing, (f/a)'s are one of my favourite animals" Ze smiled sweetly at you.

"Thanks" you blush a bit "I like your drawing. Vikings are awesome."

"Really?" his face lightens up "I mainly love their helmets! I wish I had one!"

You giggle which makes him smile even wider.  "Maybe you should get one! It would suit you" you suggest to him.

"Yeah! I think I will" every word full of excitement! You both start laughing a bit and start to converse even more, you just made a new friend and that doesn't happen very often for you with you being so shy. Today is a good day!

~~flashback end~~

You step out of the shower and dry off, you walk through to your room to choose what clothes you're going to wear for such an important meting. You settle on a casual outfit; a (f/c) t-shirt, black skinny jeans and a pair of (f/c) converse. You gather your pre-packed bags and head out of your apartment and get into the taxi you called for earlier.
