*Natalie's POV

"FP told us to keep it all under wraps. Only a few of us know." I silently listened as I set a plate of pancakes in front of him. "But you have to understand Nat. FP thought he was doing what was best for you."

"So keeping it a secret from me, was best for me? Making Jughead leader was best for me?" I spat as I stabbed my fork into my eggs.

"Keeping it away from you was best. But making Jughead leader was a whole other thing," Derek pointed his fork at me. "Anyways..." he looked down at his plate and began to cut into his pancakes. "How's that friend of yours?"

"Archie?" He nodded. "He's alright. I might head over and check on him later today though."

"And he didn't want to stay with us, why? Because I mean being here with the other serpents would mean that we would all be watching out for him. You know more eyes and all."

"Yeah, we know." I answered Derek's question. "But if Hiram found out that the serpents split and came here, it would be the first place he would look, especially since I'm with him. So Archie and I decided it was best we separate." Derek nodded his head understanding. "Besides he's close by and we have our little system, and it works. So it's best not to mess with it."

I hopped off my motorcycle and took in my surroundings making sure I wasn't being followed. I had parked my motorcycle about a mile away from where Archie was staying just in case. I continued walking alongside the new path I had came up with heading in the direction of Archie's place.

My phone began to vibrate as I was about to knock on the small cabin door.

Fangs

I hit the decline button and knocked on the door four times.

"Nat." Archie opened the door for me.

"Hey," I looked him up and down and walked inside. "Hey Vegas," I bent down and patted the dog. "I took a different route this morning," I said standing up and looking at Archie. "Were you just headed out?"

"Yeah, I was going to go clear some paths." Archie answered.

My phone began to vibrate again.

"Damn it," I cursed under my breath.

"What's wrong?" Archie asked.

I pulled out my phone and saw Fangs' name again.

"It's Fangs." I replied and stuffed my phone back in my pocket.

"You should probably answer that," Archie suggested. "He might need you."

I sighed as my phone began to ring for the third time again.

"Fine." I plopped down on the bed and slid open my phone.

"Natalie?"

"Yeah."

"Oh thank god," Fangs let out a heavy breath.

"Fangs what's going on?" I pinched the bridge of my nose in irritation.

"Nat, you got to come home. I didn't know what to do s-"

"Fangs will you slow down for a sec." I stood up from the bed as Archie's stare remained on me.

"Please Nat," Fangs begged. "You have to come home."

"Fangs, no. I'm not going home. I'm fine right where I'm at," I looked at Archie.

"Natalie please."

"Fine, Fangs. Fine." I hung up the phone and threw my phone onto the bed.

"What's going on?" Archie stood up.

"Fangs got into some trouble," I sighed and ran my hand through my hair.

"Nat, I appreciate you coming along this far with me but they need you," he stood closer to me. "The serpents need you," he looked at me sternly.

"I-I can't."

"What do you mean you can't? Natalie why don't you want to go back?" I pushed passed Archie and stared out the window.

"Because living in Riverdale has been nothing but crap," I sighed. "I can't stand being there anymore, Archie. I just... I want things to go back to the way it used to be."

"Hey, Come here." Archie pulled me into a hug as he saw me beginning to get upset. "Trust me. I want that too but you know going back to Riverdale is what's best right now."

"I know," I sighed.

"You know when we were younger I never saw you cry and now it seems like you do it all the time," he joked to lighten the mood.

"Oh fuck off," I shoved him away playfully.

"Slinging dope is not what serpents do," I heard the all to familiar voice.

After speaking to Archie I got on my bike and made my way straight to Riverdale without any stops. Fangs texted me a while ago asking if I really meant what I said over the phone. I didn't answer him and just kept going.

"So from this moment on, we're going clean. There'll be no selling or doing drugs. No crime of any kind will be tolerated. Anyone that breaks the serpent code will be exiled," I watched from afar as Jughead sat in the chair as his dad and Betty stood next to him. "Permanently."

"I think it's pretty ridic that you want to lecture us about responsibility when you haven't been paying any attention to us." I rolled my eyes as I watched Cheryl begin to yell at Jughead.

"We got no money coming in, Jug." I watched as Fangs chimed in. "I mean, how are we supposed to eat, survive?"

What the hell has been going on since I left?

"We'll figure it out and get back to you, Fangs." FP answered as his son couldn't come up with a response. "All of you. In the meantime, In unity there is strength." FP stood with his snake fangs raised but nobody did it in return.

I took that as my cue to make my presence known.

"In unity there is strength," I walked up to the small gathering holding up the snake fangs. "In unity there is strength." I repeated once more and looked around me.

"In unity there is strength," they all recited back taken by surprise that I was here.

"You came back?" Fangs whispered beside me.

"Of course I did." I smiled at him. "Couldn't leave you all high and dry now could I?" I chuckled and pulled him into a hug.

A/N: So Natalie is officially back in Riverdale. The picture up above is actor Benjamin Bratt, he will be portraying Derek. The older serpent that Natalie has gotten close to over the months of traveling and living in Quebec with the serpents that had left Riverdale. Trust me there will be more Sweet Pea from now on. Maybe in the next update? What do you think is going to happen next? Any ideas?
