*Natalie's POV

"Gladys Jones," I stood on the tree stump that Sweet Pea helped me up on a little while ago. "Is back, as you know. Word on the street is she came to take over the trade," I informed the serpents. They haven't even been here a whole two hours and we were already having a meeting. It was just the serpents that had came down from Quebec and I. Oh and Sweet Pea. "I just heard about this today. She's been doing this right under FP's nose. So he doesn't know about any of this," I told them. "And I want it to stay that way. Just until I find out how deep she is in and who exactly is she working with," I jumped down the tree stump. "As of now I want you to keep an eye out for anything suspicious, and report it back to me immediately. Do I make myself clear? I don't want anyone jumping the gun, especially on this."

"And what about that so called leader of yours," Justin, one of the younger serpents shouted.

"Don't worry about Jug," I waved it off. "I'll handle it."

"So we're supposed to follow your's and Jughead's orders?" Derek asked as he leaned off his motorcycle.

"No," I answered sharply.

"Nat," Sweet Pea whispered beside me.

"You said you had a jacket aside for me, back when I was in Quebec." I eyed Derek's jacket. "Didn't you?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I'm going to need it."

-

"Nat, are you even listening to me?" Sweet Pea asked as we walked up to my trailer.

"Yes, Sweet Pea. I am."

"I don't think you are," he exclaimed. "This could go south, very quickly."

"Oh Sweet Pea," I pushed the trailer door open. "Will you quit worrying? I've got it under control."

"By dividing the serpents in half?" I tossed my keys onto the counter.

"Listen Sweet Pea," I ran my hand through my hair. "We're still serpents at the end of the day," I sighed. "Just from a different place, is all."

"And you really think Jughead isn't going to say anything about you wearing the jacket," he pointed at the newly black jacket that I had just got from Derek a little while ago, that had 'Quebec Serpents' on it.

"Like I said, Pea." I began to get frustrated. "It's just a place," I took the jacket off and put it on the kitchen chair.

There was a small silence.

"And..." Sweet Pea trailed off. "Have you thought about, what I asked you?"

"I think I'm going to live with the Joneses," I could tell he was a bit disappointed from my response. "I mean I did ask FP to officially become my dad and I have to keep an eye on Gladys," Sweet Pea stayed quiet. "And maybe when the time comes," I walked closer to him. "You and I," I shrugged. "I don't know." I wrapped my arms around his waist. "Can think about it again?"

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

"But in the mean time," I stood on my tippy toes. "You can climb up to my window," I pecked him. "And come see me," I kissed him once more.

"Ahh, some Betty and Jughead type of shit."

"Oh god," I laughed pulling away from him. "Please don't ever compare us to them," Sweet Pea let out a laugh and pulled me back and kissed me.

"You're right," he spoke up as we both pulled away from each other after a few seconds. "We're not Betty and Jughead..."

"We're better."

-

"Is that everything," I asked as Sweet Pea placed the box on the truck of the bed.

"Yeah," he breathed out and wiped the sweat off his forehead. Sweet Pea had gotten rid of his shirt hours ago, complaining that it was too hot. So he was now just in his jeans and shoes.

"Thanks for helping me." I shut the bed of the truck. Sweet Pea and I spent the entire last two days packing up my things.

"Have you told FP yet?"

"Nope."

"I'm going to miss you around here."

"Awww, Pea." I couldn't help but smile. "You'll always be welcomed at the Joneses."

"I know. It's just... It'll be weird with everyone around is all."

"Don't worry, Sweet Pea. We'll find some alone time in that big ol' house." I placed my hand on his chest. "Or we could just always come back here to your place," I hinted.

FP and I got in my truck with him sitting in the driver seat.

"You know the last time I sat here," Sweet Pea kept his eyes on the road as he drove in the direction of the former Cooper residence. "Driving you," he motioned. "You were drunk."

"Of course I was," I murmured as I felt my cheeks heat up.

Heat up?

"Yeah," he sighed. "Do you remember what we talked about?"

"Pea, I don't even remember what I ate two days ago. Let alone what I said the last time I was completely wasted," I joked.

"Well," Sweet Pea trailed off. "You asked if I was happy?" He stopped at the red light and took that time to look at me. "I never really gave you an answer," he bit his bottom lip. "And I want to let you know that I am. I am so fucking happy when I'm with you Natalie. You drive me fucking crazy."

"Sweet Pea," I smiled in awe.

We were soon interrupted with various horns, honking at us since the light had turned green already. I laughed as Sweet Pea rolled his eyes and brought his attention back on the road.

I knew I loved him before.

But this...

This made me fall in love with him even more.

A/N: So what do you think? Natalie is dividing up the serpents, is that a good idea? What do you think is going to happen when FP finds out about Gladys? Will he ever find out about Gladys? It looks like she is moving in with the Joneses after all...

What do you think is going to happen next?
