Hiccup is still in his usual depressed state as his still mourns over the loss of Astrid, sitting in his arm chair quietly sobbing as the flashbacks took over his sight

He was snapped back to reality when he felt something pull on his arm, he looked where he felt the grab and saw his mother standing there with Miracle in her arms sleeping soundly

"Oh hey mum, thanks for taking care of Miri for me" he said as he rubbed his eyes "shall I put her to bed for you son?" she asked "yeah please" he replied

Valka smiled and took little Miracle up to her room and as she placed her in her bed and pulled the sheets over she noticed a painting of Hiccup and Astrid hanging above her bed

Valka sighed, she missed Astrid so much and it was the worst seeing Hiccup in the state when he was depressed or upset

She went back down and saw Hiccup drawing designs for some sort of invention of his, she smiled and walked out leaving Hiccup to his work

Hiccup sighed as he put the design on the table as stood up "you really are good at picking bad times to piss people off" he said as he turned around to see the cloaked figure standing there

"Why are you here" he said crossing his arms over his chest, he wasn't even going to try and fight "I just want to know...why did you let me live, why didn't you kill me" they asked

He just stood there and didn't say anything, instead he just stared "I know you dot care what I have to say but at least answer my question" they said

Finally Hiccup sighed and said "you just....your....your eyes remind me if my wife before she died" he said "oh, well can I stay?" they asked

Hiccup snapped his head at her with a confused look "I'm sorry...what?!" he said gripping his fist "can...can I stay...here, just for one night?" they begged "I don't want to go back home"

"Why?" Hiccup said

"I-I just need a place to stay, and ill be honest....I'm terrified if dragons" they said scratching the back if her head

"Fine but as soon as sun light comes...you're outta here, understand" he said, they nodded and went upstairs to go to bed

Hiccup watched and thought to him self "why is all this so familiar, I don't like the way this is going"

Morning came and Hiccup woke up as the rays of sunlight hit his face, he got up and went round the house and saw that the mystery person was already gone and they had also left a note on the table

'Hiccup, thank you for letting me stay here last night, I owe you big time and I need to tell you something.

I don't want to be an assassin anymore and I want to have you help me bring down my master Drago Bludvist.

Meet me in the forest tomorrow at mid night and we will talk.

This was starting to get a little suspicious now, the sleep over the note asking him to meet her it was all a little quick

But she did say they would kill Drago and that is something that's been on his to so list for years

What if this was all a trap and he was just played this entire time to believe she needed his help

It was all very risky but he had to take it if he was to put an end to Drago's rain of terror once and for all, he had to do it...for Astrid

The day went by pretty quick as Hiccup took care of the village and dragons all day long

But now night started to fall and Hiccup became more and more tense as the sapphire blue sky started to fade to darkness

Spots of flickers in the sky lit up the night as the stars started to shine bright, Hiccup was sitting in his arm chair thinking about what could happen tonight

He decided to just go and see what will happen so he got up, walked out the door and started to walk into the forest feeling more and more tense with every step he took

He then came across Astrid's favourite spot in the woods for axe practice and so many memories clouded his mind, infact he was so deep in thought he didn't hear someone come behind him

He heard footsteps a then along with what sounded like sobbing and sniffing, he turned his head very slowly and then he saw someone standing there, they had their hood over their head "who are you?" he asked but they just stood there sobbing "take your hood down, and that is not a question" he demanded

They slowly reached for the brim of the fur hood then ever so slowly started to pull it off their head, Hiccup saw small features that he some how recognised

Golden Blonde Hair, Soft Pink Lips, Small Fragile Hands

They were all so familiar but who had these features that he knows, the good came further and further back until it was all the way off their head and when Hiccup saw who it was he froze

Tears started to blur his eye sight, his body became week, his mouth would move but the words wouldn't come out until finally he managed to choke out

"Astrid?"
