Authors Note- Hey lovelies! I hope you guys are having a good Tuesday! I've decided in a couple of chapters I want to start adding different POV's for the characters. I want you guys to explore some of the characters and experience the journey with them also!
The next morning my head is throbbing. It feels like someone took a shovel and knocked me upside my head. I get up to close the curtains because is literally hurting my eyes at this point. I jump back into bed and throw the pillow over my head. As soon as I lay down I hear a knock at the door. Jesus Christ in need a break!
I drag myself out of bed. I was wearing a long t-shirt and my hair is in a messy bun on top of my head. I walk to the door and slowly open it. Tyler rushes into the room and begins to yell.
"Do you have any freaking idea how worried we all were for you last night?" Jesus dial it down a notch. I walk back to my bed and throw myself onto it. "What?" I say obviously not giving a shit about what Tyler has to say. He crosses his arms and gives me this prepare for what I'm about to say look. "You and Nathaniel! Why didn't you tell us he gave you a ride?" He asks practically yelling at me.
I calm myself before I say anything I'm going to regret. When I get into arguments, my mouth can be pretty reckless. "First, Christian pissed me off so I didn't want a ride home from him. Two, it was just a ride and I'm not obligated to tell you anything!" I say getting louder with him. "I'm not obligated to tell you anything" He says mocking me. "Bullshit! Nathaniel could've.."He adds and pauses. I cross my arms and get closer. "He could've what? Hm? Nathaniel was nice to me and offered to take me home which he did and he wasn't acting like a dick all night like Christian! So please, Enlighten me on how bad Nathaniel is." I say.
They were literally overreacting. I knew that next I was going to hear Sam's mouth and I don't think I can take another lecture on how bad Nathaniel is. He sighs and clenches his fist together. "Nathaniel has done bad things, to mostly girls. So I'd advise you to stay away from him. We don't want anything. To happen to you that's all." He says calming his voice and taking a seat on my bed. I sit down next to him, loosing the energy to yell or even argue with him. "Look, I have a huge headache I'm in crisis mode at this very moment. Whatever you have against Nathaniel you don't have to worry about anything." I say trying to give him some sort of relief from the situation.
He sighs. "Leah. You're like a sister to us. We just want to make sure you're alright." He says. I nod and lay my head on his shoulder. "I know I know. Christian just really pissed me off. He told me that I would become Nathaniel's bitch. How could he say that?" I say in disbelief. He puts rubs his forehead and sighs. "It was the beer talking. Don't stress over it." He says. "I mean, he does like you that's why he got so defensive." My jaw drops. He what? He likes me? Why would he like me? I understand that I'm gorgeous but I'm a complete bitch.
"Are you serious?" I ask him. He doesn't respond. I grip his shoulder down and apply excessive force to pry the information out of him. "Tyler! I'm serious are you joking with me?" I say practically yelling. "Okay okay okay stop doing that shit to my shoulder!" He says trying to remove his shoulder from my hand. I smile finally getting what I want out of him. "Okay, on the first day after you came to the dorm he might've mentioned that you were cute." He says.
"And?" I say. He sighs. "He told me about your little shopping trip and he said that he hasn't met anyone as amazing as you." He adds. I try to contain my smile. He likes me. That's new. I mean now that I think about it, I do have some unfamiliar feelings for him. I can't get myself to realize these feelings that I have for him. All I know is I can't always stay mad at him even for this, I can't. Now that I know the main reason he's so defensive about Nathaniel, but there's still some thing that I don't know about this. "So you mean to tell me that, he likes me." I say trying to grasp this new information. He nods. "But did he tell you those exact words?" I ask him. He groans. "Jesus Christ Leah the guy likes you okay? Stop trying to find a way out of it." He says. I roll my eyes. "Fine. I'll stop at his dorm later on. What time is it anyways?" I ask him. He checks his phone to see the time. "It's nearly five." My eyes widen. "Oh my god I have too much to do today. I have to walk to his dorm, I need to get something to eat, I have to write my essay-." I went on and on until Tyler finally shut me up. "Leah! It's not that big of a deal, you can do your essay tomorrow. " He says. I calm down and go to my closet to put on some tights. "Can you bring me?" I asked him. "Yeah come on, I actually drove here because I'm not walking ten minutes back and forth for you guys." He says I smile and quickly grab my bag and head out the door.
When we reach the boy dorms, I knock quietly on the doors and wait Christian opens the door. My heart is racing. All the things I planned to say to him disappeared immediately. I was officially...screwed.
