He slowly moved back away from me and chuckled lightly, filling the awkward moment of silence. "Do you want anything to eat? I'm sure you're starving." I nod at his request and make my way out of the bed, grabbing my bag. I sit it on the edge of the bed and walk into the bathroom, and look down at the shower handles, and slowly turn them on. Nathaniel walks in behind me, and begins to brush his teeth, quietly looking at me every once in a while.

I sit on the side of the tub, waiting for him to leave the bathroom. I know it's nothing that he hasn't seen before but, I sort of like my privacy when I shower. He finishes up, and cleans his face with the hand towel, and begins to look at me in the mirror. "Do you need something or...?" I quickly shake my head. "No I'm waiting for you to leave, that's all." He laughs at my comment and shakes his head slowly. "Worried that I'll make you nervous or something?" He smirks at me, and turns around leaning against the counter with his arms crossed.

I lower my head and scoff with a smile, and look back at him. "No actually I just like my privacy. No peering eyes you know what I mean?" He smirks. "That's not just it. You're wondering about the things I could do to you at that moment. Am I right?" What is this guy some fucking psychic? I mean he's not wrong. The thing is, it's not just about what he would do to me, the real question is, will I be able to control myself, or have the strength to stop him from anything that he might do.

"Partially. But I do mean it, the shower is the only privacy that I have. So I'd like it if you left." He laughs at me and nods. "It was worth a shot. Do you need a hand towel or
something?" I begin to nod slowly. "Oh, and a dry towel." He nods and I begin to turn on the water and quickly grab my outfit for today. I decided to go with a simple pair of black leggings, and my school hoodie. I don't plan on doing anything fancy today, minus seeing Damon in the hospital.

I have quite worked out the thin with my parents yet, or arranged to see them. I guess with all of this happening it would be good to hold off on that. The last thing I need is to deal with that kind of stress. He hands me the towels, and I smile. "Thanks." He smiles back at me and walks out of the bathroom, closing the door behind him. I undress myself and step into the tub, and I let the water run down my skin. I quickly shower, and let the thoughts of this morning run through my head, which is interrupted by the sound of the bathroom door opening.

"Sorry, I forgot comb." I can hear him shuffling through the drawers and quickly closing it. His footsteps make their way to the door, but he doesn't leave. He laughs lightly, and I can feel his smile. "You know you make this extremely hard." I laugh as the water trails down my face. "Well it's nothing you haven't seen before. You'll survive. I say washing, and rinsing my body off.

"Alright, I won't look. But next time, I most certainly will." He leaves closing the door behind him and I shut off the water, and wrap the towel around me, beginning to brush my teeth and change. I quickly put on my clothes and throw my hair into a messy bun, making my way back into the room, seeing Nathaniel, sprawled across the bed with his head on the edge, peering at his phone.

"You done?" He says laying on his side. "Yep, I'm starving. Where are we eating?" I sit on the edge of the bed, looking in his direction. He begins to sit up and he slightly tilts his head. "We can go to that diner. It's only a couple of minutes away from here." I smile happily. "Sounds great." I get up and grab my wallet. I notice Nathaniels eyebrows lift, his eyes go wide, and he quickly gets up. "No. I'm paying."

I jerk my head back, and furrow my eyebrows. "Uh no. You can pay for your meal, I'll pay for my own things." He quickly shakes his head and snatches my wallet. "Hey!" I blurt out trying to reach for it from his grasp. He holds my wallet high up in the air and looks at me. "When you're with me you don't need to pay for anything. I mean it." His controlling voice turns me on, but I won't budge. "Nate I like that you're trying to treat me and all but really I can pay for my own food. It makes me feel like I'm not contributing enough." He scoffs and shakes his head, standing his ground.

"Leah you contribute enough just by being there, like I said you aren't paying." He places the wallet into his nightstand. I open my mouth to speak, but nothing comes out momentarily. "Fine. Let's just go." I open the door and make my way down the staircase. I look at the corner of my eye and I see Kol laying on the couch, with a bag of Fritos on his chest, and an episode of Dragon Ball Z on.

"Hey Kol." I say smiling walking over to him. He turns his head facing me, and greets me with a smile. "Oh, hey Leah. Want to watch with me? Goku and Jiren are about to fight." Holy shit he's watching the tournament! I may be a girl but Dragon Ball Z is something I take a major interest in. "I'd love to but Nate and I are about to head out to eat." His smile fades, turning into a frown. "Oh. Well can I come?" Before I can respond, Nathaniel interrupts our conversation.

"Hell no. Leah lets go." I scoff and turn towards him, and cross my arms. "Why can't he?" He rolls eyes his, and lets out a sigh. "Because, I can't stand his presence so no, he's not coming." It irritates me that he's being such an asshole to Kol. I decide to take matters into my own hands and look at Kol, who's still watching the two of us. "Kol. Get your shoes. You're coming." His face lights up immediately and I look back at Nathaniel who begins to rant. "No! Leah I said he's not coming! He's the last person that I want to be in a car with. Besides, we hate each other!" I roll my eyes at his weak defense.

"He's either coming, or I'm not going. Simple." Manipulation has always been my best spot. He clenches his jaw, and balls his fist. I raise my eyebrows wondering about his next move. He closes his eyes and slowly lets his hands loose. "Fine. But I swear to god Kol, make any snarky comments and you're staying here." Kol rolls his eyes and quickly runs upstairs grabbing his shoes, and running back down.

I smile at him as if nothing has happened, and Kol quickly comes down. "Ready!" He says happily. As much as Nathaniel hates it, he needs to start treating Kol with a little more respect. After all, it's his little brother, and I know for a fact that he's going to look up to Nathaniel at some point. He rolls his eyes and we make our way to the car, and get in.

Nathaniel turns around in the drivers seat, facing Kol, and flares at him. "Mess up anything back there you're done for." I chuckle lightly at his threat, and how much he despised the presence of his little brother. Kol laughs. "Stop being such an asshole. You're mad because I messed up your little date with her."

I begin to cough uncontrollably at his words. Was that what this was? A date? Did I just invite Nathaniel's little brother on a date with him and I? Nathaniel mumbles a few words that I can't make out, and drives off. If this is a date, I feel completely horrible for inviting Kol onto it. I just to continue enjoying this morning as I already had been doing.
