Authors Note: WOW this book is getting heated! Can't wait until we get further into it! I'm sorry for not posting over the weekend I was extremely busy don't kill me for it haha! I'd like to know who you guys picture the characters as, and what you think of the book so far. The next two chapters will be uploaded today I promise!

After my parents left, I felt some relief on my chest. Christian looked at me as if I just killed someone's cat or something. It's no secret that I'm not too fond of my parents. They didn't bother to pay attention to me until my brother died. I've noticed that, no one really gives a shit about anyone until you die.

"What?" I say. He shakes his head

"Nothing." He lies. He thinks that if he says something to me about how I speak to my parents that I'm going to get upset. He knows it, and I know it.

"Those are your parents for Christ sake Leah." Tyler finally says. I roll my eyes. He's one to talk. He's beyond disrespectful and he's talking to me about how to speak to MY parents. I lay down on my bed and place my legs over Tyler's lap.

"The fact that you think I care is very amusing. They've ignored me my entire life and now they want to be "parents" and spend time with their kids no, I don't think so. At least they won't be seeing me."

Christian lays next to me as Tyler scoots off of my bed and onto Mari's. Christian slowly wraps his arms around me, sending chills down my spine. As I lay my head onto his warm chest, I can feel his heart, beating the same with mine. I love how we're on good terms and I couldn't be any happier.

The thing is, we haven't even confirmed that we were dating. Not to mention that I still would like that date that we talked about. But this time I don't plan on asking him. I'm the girl here I shouldn't have to ask him.

"Yeah, Yeah Leah. I get it. But you have to give them some type of chance." Tyler says, trying to convince on creating a stable relationship with my parents.

"Whatever. Leah is definitely over this conversation. Can we go get pizza or something I'm starving." Christian starts to play with my hair as we lock hands. The entire time, I begin to think about how it would feel to actually have a relationship with my parents. The sad part is, even though I want to deep down, I'm not ready. Maybe I should give it a try though.

I grab my phone out of my pocket and begin to text my mother.

*We can have lunch later today around four. I'll text you the address.*

I can see from the corner of my eye Christians grin. I guess he already figured that I would give my parents a chance. As much as I don't want to, I guess I should. After all, they won't be here forever.

After a while I feel a vibration on my lap.

*That's perfect! Can't wait to see you sweetheart!*

For some reason it annoys me that my mom is so overly excited even through fucking text. Why does she have to always be so damn happy? I get up from the bed and head to my dresser to get a change of clothes for the lunch. Tyler, Sam, and Mari both get up from the bed for some odd reason. I turn around curious about where they are headed. Mari grabs her bag and smiles gently at me. "Where are you guys going?" I ask out of curiosity. "Oh, we're going out to get something to eat. We had this planned since this morning." Sam says.

I'm kind of offended that I wasn't invited.

"You guys weren't going to invite me?" I say with a low tone.

Sam sighs. "We were going to but you have plans with your parents so.." I roll my eyes.

"I can cancel-." Christian hops up from the bed and shakes his head. "Nope, you aren't canceling. You need to get on track with your parents. Build a relationship with them." I roll my eyes. I understand he's trying to be a concerned friend but I don't need him telling me what I need to do.
