Next day
Samia sat in front of her bedroom Vanity, staring into her own reflection.
"You're a beauty." Rebekah appears behind her, placing her hand on the teens shoulders.
"Thank you." Samia smiles, though she didn't believe her.
"You are, truly." Rebekah leans down, kissing Samia on her forehead. The young girl closed her eyes, savouring the sweet moment. Rebekah took the comb and started lightly combing through Samias curls.
"Why did he save us?" Samia asks, Rebekah sets the comb down. She was took back by the question.
"I think he sees himself in the two of you." Rebekah sighs.
"It's getting late, I should go to sleep."

"Block with your left hand." He lectures, Elijah was teaching Samia how to fight. A fragile human like her had to know to survive.
"I can't do this." She sighs, giving up.
"Only the weak give up. We are not weak." Klaus appears on the courtyard.
"You two may not be, but I'm only human." She argues her point. Elijah leaves, to handle some business.
"Quitters never win." He repeats, this time walking closer.
"You think I quit when my father beat me half to death every night, simply because I'm black." She raises her eyebrows, Klaus was speechless.
"I am certainly not a quitter." She grabs her water bottle and leaves.
