Chapter 6

Job Job Job

Black's POV:

Bwiset. Do I really have to see this?

As I look at them, they really are happy. It only makes me feel annoyed. She must have been so lucky to have her aunt while me on the other hand has nobody but myself.

"Tss, family is bullshit," darn it.

Natitrigger talaga ako when it comes to family stuffs. Di ko na feel yung mga ganyan. It seems like a cockroach creeping on my throat. Ang sarap isuka.

It doesn't make any sense for me to watch them experience things that are seemingly forbidden from me. I went to my room para maiwasan ang freaking view nilang magkapamilya.

"Hays," another buntong hininga. How about I go somewhere else para makapaghanap ng work? I think I should do that to do something other than staying here like a coward.

I grabbed my wallet and went outside.

"Job, job, job," puros laman ng utak ko.

As I was walking, my eyes were struck with the family.  How lucky is she para magkaroon ng ganyan? While me, still longing for the love of my mom. Aysh, wala na. Wala na lahat. Why would I even bother myself for that?

"Oh?"

"*Looking for waiter/waitress"

May nakalagay na flyer sa glass ng isang coffee shop. What? 200 pesos per day? What a cheap wage! When Dad was still working, he was like earning for about a million per day. Pero ito, what the heck man? How ironic on my part.

When I was still just a mere teenager, I never experienced having a little amount of money. I am stubborned with golds and silvers, much less bronze.

Pero, I guess okay na to. Maghahanap pa ba ako ng ibang opportunity? Ito na yun e. If this is what my fate leads me, then I will never ever look for any other ways.

I opened the door, walked towards the cashier and stood in front of the counter.

"Good afternoon sir, what's your order?," the female cashier asked.

She did not stop staring at me. I know she is fascinated by my charm.

"Ah no, may nakalagay kasi diyan na poster. Sabi, naghahanap daw dito ng waiter?," I assured.

"Ahh yep opo. Nangangailangan po kami ng bagong waiters. Alam mo po, pag nakausap mo na ang manager, sure po ako. Kukunin ka agad non," she answered and smiled.

Tss. What does she mean by that?
She then went straight to the room next to the counter. A conversation started filling the whole seemingly empty room.

Minutes have passed by. Hindi pa rin lumabas ang cashier na yon. A woman was whistling right behind me. Mas nakadagdag iyon sa pagkabuwiset ko. I know she's waiting to pay her order.

Hanggang sa, lumabas na din siya. But, with a man in black suit. This must be the manager she was mentioning a while ago.

"So, this is him?," pakeweng-keweng na sabi niya. He seems to be a gay. But I doubt it. He has beared and he's fat. Maybe it's just his way of talking.
