Chapter 16- Coincidence

He sat on the corner near the window. He was quite mesmerized with the view. Then he stood up and left his bag at the chair and went to the counter. He ordered a frappe and a cinammon then returned to his seat. The cafe soon got crowded.

As he watched the view.He heared a famillar voice from afar.

"I'll order an Ice coffee." A famillar voice said.

He looked at the direction where the voice came from. He was stunned to see who it was.

'Why..why do we always meet? Kageyama?'

Earlier [That Day]

"Its currently vacation so I guess, I'll go out for a walk." Kageyama whispered to himself.

He decided to go out to do his daily routine. He went to the cafe he usually goes.

"I'll order an Ice coffee." He said. After he got his order, he looked for an empty seat.

While he searched the cafe. He spotted a famillar figure. He felt butterflies in his stomach as he approached the famillar figure.

"Shoyo." He said in a serious tone. Hinata didnt even turn his head before responding.

"Hello, Kageyama." He replied with a lifeless tone.

"Would you mind if I take this sit?" Kageyama asked. Hinata shaked his head as a response.

Hinata continued drinking his frappe as Kageyama drink his coffee. The silence lasted for awhile before Hinata insisted on speaking up.

"Its been a while, I didn't expect to meet you here. Such a coincidence, isnt it?" He said in a serious yet lifeless tone.

He tried not to show anymore reaction towards him. He couldn't help but remember the pain and hate he bares towards Kageyama.

"Shoyo, I'm sorry." He repeated the words he said to Hinata the last time.

Hinata replied "Okay".

Kageyama put up a bitter smile. He knew very well that the even if Hinata said 'Okay' doesnt mean that he intended to forgive Kageyama.

Kageyama didn't give up and replied "So.. You decided to join Hitori's team huh. Its surprising, I never thought that you would join him. That alone is shocking enough." He sipped a mouthfull of coffee.

Shoyo responded with in a monotone " Its not to be surprised of. What's even more surprising is why I always bump into you." He looked annoyed even though he responded in a cold way.

Kageyama let out a chuckle "Is that so?" He looked at Hinata then added "Don't tell me that you like him?"

Hinata said with a cold tone "Its better to like someone like him than to like someone like you." He continued drinking his frappe.

Kageyama smiled bitterly. He sipped his coffee before cutting the silence off.

"Shoyo, I need to talk to you about something." Shoyo stopped for awhile then looked at Kageyama, thinking if he would consider it or not. Then He commented "Sure, speak up."

Kageyama's eyes lit up. He felt energy surging through him.

He wanted to tell Shoyo about how he felt and what happened. He was prepared to speak up. One is that, he's consience is killing him.

As he was about to speak up. A call cut off their conversation.

Ring.Ring.Ring

Shoyo's phone rang. He picked up the phone and a famillar voice can be heared.

"Shoyo, return quickly, The team received an Invitation to a certain resort. Since they found out that we aren't leaving yet. They plan on interviewing us. Come back quickly, Okay~?" Hitori said through the phone.

A nerve popped out Hinata's forehead. "Ofcourse and don't act like my lover." He said in an annoyed tone. Hitori laughed before ending the call.

Hinata fixed his things and took the empty plastic cup with him. He stood up "I need to go." He said then walked to the door. Kageyama was about to stop him but it was too late. Kageyama sighed then his phone rang. He picked the phone call up when he realized who it was.

"Iwaizumi-san?" He said out of shock.

"Kageyama, we need to talk. Its about Oikawa." Iwaizumi responded.
