Chapter 4- Captain

Days even weeks pass by and weeks turned to a month. It been a month since Hinata joined the volleyball club. They made a lot of memories. And Hinata easily adjusted in the club.

"Shoyo, Mind spiking some of my tosses?" Hitori asked. Hitori changed a bit. He's only nice with Hinata but not with the others. It's as if he had some connection with him.

"Sure." Hinata said in a lifeless tone. The Vice Captain also adjusted to Hinata's atitude.

"Hey, I just noticed, The Captain's not around recently." One of the members brought up.

"Yeah, I noticed that too. He's also acting kind of strange." The other said.

"Haha, he's always strange." Hitori replied with a wide grin.

"No, I mean like, it's like he's always thinking. And he's avoiding us everytime we tried talking to him." The members told them.

"Maybe you did something really bad to-." The Vice Captain was cut of by when Hinata speak "Shh, Quite." Hinata said sternly. "Yeah, yeah. I'll be quite." Hitori whispered with a pout.

"Continue."

"We also heared about the Captain quiting the club, we don't know if that's a rumor or real." The other member continued.

"Hmm, if he's really going to quit then I guess, I'll be the one taking his place then!" The Vice Captain said in Victory.

The Vice Captain was daydreaming about becoming the Captain.

"I think not." Hitori's dream just got crushed. "But why? I mean, Shoyo, you should be voting for me." He whined.

"You'll get the member's in trouble." Hinata said sternly.

Hitori clinged at Hinata. "Shoyoo!!"

"What are you? A new born child? Stop it, it's annoying." Hinata complained while trying to stop Hitori from clinging unto him.

[Time Skip]

The practice ended and Hinata left. While walking, Hinata noticed a famillar figure.

"Oh it's you." Hinata said in a low tone.

"Shoyo! Haha it's nice seeing you here." The Captain replied in a jolly tone.

They walked for a while after seeing a shop nearby.

"Let's get something to eat." The Captain suggested. When they entered the shop, The Captain took an order and head back where Hinata's seated.

"What do you want to talk about?" Hinata asked out of curiousity.

"I'm quitting the club." The captain sadly answer. "I know." Hinata replied.

"Really?" The Captain said in shock.

"Yes, it's totally obvious." Hinata said in a lazy tone.

"Is that so? Then I have one last favor before I leave the club." He said in I serious tone.

"What favor?"

"Shoyo, I want you to become the new Captain of the Volleyball Club." The Captain continued.

"Sure." Hinata gave his answer. The Captain is still left speechlest after the fast reply Hinata gave him. "How straight forward haha." He laughed.

"The reason why I asked you to be the Captain of the Club is that, You diciplined the members so that they wont slack off during practice. Also, you seemed to be close to Hitori. I could've asked him but it seems like he's not fit for the job. He always start a fight but when your around, he seemed to be like a new born child, so innocent." The Captain told him.

"I think that you've given him a wrong description, Captain. He's totally not innocent."

"Haha, I expected that reply from you."

After chatting they eat for a while until they seperate ways.

Hinata arrived home late so he just went to his bedroom. He lay in bed for a while. Later, he felt himself drifting unto sleep.

Huh? Where am I? What's this place? A gym? I dont remember being in here

"Eh, he dont know?"

Who are they talking about?

"I guess so."

"What are we gonna do?We cant get him to quit Volleyball."

Slowly, Hinata opened his eyes. He felt a great pain rushing through his head as his sight darkened. 'That dream again.'
