Chapter 21- His Fall

"Oikawa!?"

Kageyama shouted, he couldn't help but feel shock seeing Hinata in the ground. Oikawa turned his head and his chaotic reaction immediatly turned soft.

"T-tobio.." Oikawa slowly approached Kageyama and raised his hands to caress his face. Kageyama immediatly removed it and glared at him. He looked at Oikawa with spite and disgust.

Oikawa frozed in the spot and Kageyama made his way to Hinata. Hinata's restless eyes moved at Kageyama's figure.

Kageyama held Hinata's little figure into his arms. "Are you okay?" He asked softly, there was a hint of regret, hatred, doubt, resentment and many more mixed emotions in his eyes.

Beads of tears fell at Hinata's cheek as he mouted few words. Kageyama looked at him with shock. He touched Hinata's wound. It hit the most fatal part in his head. 'Shit!' He gritted his teeth.

The color on Hinata's face died down as he turned pale as snow. Later on, Hinata slowly lost conciousness.

"Hey.. Don't, don't close your eyes, come on..Hinata" Kageyama shaked figure. Kageyama swore at his mind 'Shit at this rate, He'll die'

Behind Kageyama, Oikawa stared at them with hate as he's face darken. Brutal thoughts rushed through his head.

"I see." He spoked in monotone. Kageyama was alarmed when he felt a mysterious killing content then he turned his head. He looked at Oikawa who became even more vicious and ruthless.

The usual brightness in Oikawa's eyes were replaced by dullness and lifelessness. Then he pulled something out of his pocket and pointed it at Kageyama.

Kageyama's mouth gapped and his forehead formed wrinkles. He's face turned pale. He didn't expect that Oikawa will have that object. And that object WAS A GUN!

"W-what are you planning to do?" Kageyama stuttered but alertness and conciousness surfaced him.

Oikawa frowned "If I can't have you then its better if he can't have you too." He loaded the gun.

Kageyama quickly stood up and raised his hands to calm down Oikawa "No..don't do this. We can still talk about this!" He begged.

Oikawa looked at him indifferently. "We can't anymore. You saw me killing him, I'm sure you won't look at me the same way anymore."

Panic arose at Kageyama's heart. 'What should I do?..' as he ran out of choices, he decided that he have no choice but to do one thing.

He ran towards Oikawa and tried to sntch the gun away. Oikawa was slightly taken a back, the reaction in his face got even more fierce as he fight Kageyama for the gun. Kageyama used force this time to pull the gun. Oikawa kicked Kageyama on the stomach causing Kageyama to gasped for air as he hold his stomach.

He fall into his knees but quickly regained his composure and attack Oikawa again.

Minutes later, the fight for life and death continues. Kageyama felt as if his energy was depleting. Fatigue can be seen in his face. Luckily, he's very athletic but compared to Oikawa, he's merely an sheep that a wolf like Oikawa is trying to hunt.

As Kageyama soon ran out of energy. He was forced to step back. Oikawa aimed at him. He didn't expect Oikawa to pull the trigger.

The bullet soon hit his left shoulder. The pain felt as if the flesh in his left shoulder was being pierced in fast speed. His eyes forced shut then he gritted his teeth out of unbearable pain. The pain caused him to feel even more drowsy. One is that, the blood kept flowing out of his shoulder. The second is that, he's running out of energy like a water in a well.

He have no choice but to risk it all. 'There's chance that [Y/N] might call for help in a few more minutes. I must stun him. But how.. If this continues, not only will Hinata's life be in danger, but mine as well.'

This time Oikawa aimed at Kageyama's head. As he was about to pull the trigger. Kageyama shut his eyes, prepairing himself to be shot.
However, a minute or two past but he didn't hear a gunshot. He heared familiar voices and a sound of siren.

He opened his eyes to see that Oikawa has been apprehended. "You are under arrest" Oikawa cursed under his breath. While he was pinned down, the police officers put handcuffs to bound his arms. Then he was forced to stand up. They dragged him down the forest to the police car but before that, he glared ay the crowd of people which consists of You, Kageyama and the unconcious Hinata.

He left a last few words: "I'll be back."

As his figure disappeared, You approached Kageyama. "Are your wounds okay?" She looked at Kageyama. He nodded in respond then looked at Hinata beside him. "But Hinata.."
