Hey guys, I decided to do something different with this chapter. I don't really know it will be a good or bad idea but I'm going to give it a shot, so please enjoy this chapter written from Caroline's and then Aiden's point of view and please leave a comment letting me know what you think.

Caroline's POV

I don't know how long I sat there. It felt like I was surrounded by darkness, at first I tried to push it away, but soon I let it suffocate me. After I let it take over, the pain went away. But so did every other feeling. I was mentally numb. When I finally got up from the floor, it was morning. Birds were chirping outside and I walked out to the porch. Lucy followed on my heels.

I sat down on the cool wood of the porch. I tried to take a deep breath but it only reminded of my shortness of breath and the pounding in my chest. It only reminded me that the person I loved more than anyone else left me.

I don't blame him.

As far as he knows I'm just a liar.

But he didn't give me a chance to tell him that I had only known a couple days.

But that's a lie.

I always knew something was wrong. I just didn't know the name.

I'd always had Leo.

I sat in the sandbox at the playground, sniffing as tears ran down my face. I stared down at the yellow below me.

"What's wrong?" A voice asked from behind me. I turned around to be met with blonde hair and big brown eyes.

"Nothin'," I mumbled, wiping at my nose with my pink sweater.

"Did somebody call you a mean name?" He asked, and I nodded.

"They call me names too." He said, "Do you wanna play with me?"

I looked up and he was smiling, holding out his hand. I smiled and took it.

When the memory ended I took in a strangled breath, trying to pull myself out of my mind. I could barely breathe before I was hit with another one.

"Okay guys have fun," Mom called from the car, "I'll be back at Five to pick you up."

"'Kay, Mama" I said and waved goodbye as we made our way inside of the community pool.

"I brought five dollars!" Leo exclaimed proudly.

"No way!" I said, "We can get slushies and pizza!"

"I know." He said, his smiled stretching across his face proudly. "I mowed the yard for it!"

"Woah," I said.

We spent the day swimming and sitting in the sun playing card games.

This time tears fell as I pulled away from the memory. Lucy pushed her head under my arm to try to comfort me.

"You're telling me you didn't like it?" Leo asked.

"Please, it was mediocre at best."

"Are you kidding it was a masterpiece, how could you not have liked it?"

"Come on L, it was hardly better than the first four Sharknado movies."
