I was very cozily sitting on the couch while reading a book in the biggest library which was in the palace. This place has so many books that it took me more than half an hour to search for the book that I want to read when Macy interrupted my reading.
"There you are Amelia, I have been searching for you everywhere" she complained as soon as she saw me.
"Not quite everywhere as I am over here and secondly you could have just mind linked me." I reminded her while still, my eyes stuck on the lines of the book.
"Well I forgot about that" she replied in defense. "Anyway I want to talk something important" I hummed in reply. "But, for that, you need to give all your attention over here," she said and snatched my book away from me, ignoring my protests. "And now, I can tell you. You need to get ready as within a few hours your Luna Ceremony would take. "
"Wait, what!?" I almost yelled.
"Yes, your Luna Ceremony. In this, you would be officially named and titled as Luna and the Queen of this pack and all the werewolf packs. "
"And why wasn't I informed before," I said, almost on the verge of freaking out. This is a big deal, I would have to take care of all the werewolf packs and I would also be responsible for their lives and security; thinking all this is making my head spin.
"Because it was decided an hour ago"
"Where is Eros? And why isn't he the one telling me about it?" I questioned her.
"He is busy in the preparation and informing all the Alphas and Betas of all the packs in the world. It is not possible for all of them to come as it was announced at such short notice but still many would be coming to the event and the venue has to be big enough to accommodate all of them who would be attending" she answered.
"Macy, can I first talk to Eros and then I'll join you, please" I requested her to which she agreed and left the library.
"Eros?" I mind linked him.
"Yes, baby what happened? Aren't you getting ready?" He answered.
"I need you, can you come to the library right now?"
"I'll be up in a minute" he replied and cut off the link. And true to his words he came within a minute and sat beside me.
He held my hands in his and said worriedly "What happened Amelia?"
"Eros, I can't. I just can't!" I exclaimed and my eyes welled up with tears.
