"They are ready to confess" Bren mind linked me.
"Oh, good. Do I even want to know how did you make them confess?" I felt relieved that we have a confession and can start to find Eros.
"I don't think so" he chuckled.
"Hmm, that's what I thought. I'll be down in a minute" I shook my head at their antics and cut off the link.
I don't think I need to know what they did because I can see what they did. Amy and Seth were tied with silver handcuffs. Their faces were puffed up with traces of blood, more on the face of Seth than Amy.
As soon as they spotted me, they both glared at me, I ignored their glare.
Jack kicked Seth on the stomach. Seth and Amy both winced.
"They are mates!" I exclaimed as realization dawned on me.
"Yes, they are. We also came to know the same some time ago." he agreed with me.
"Is that a good thing or bad?" I questioned.
"Both I guess" he answered.
"Your guess as good as mine," I replied.
"Why?" I asked Seth and Amy.
"Because he doesn't deserve to be a king. He had gone soft, you made him soft." Seth sneered at me.
I scoffed. "Cut the bullshit and tell the real reason or I am not responsible for what Jack and Bren would do you both," I demanded.
"You are smart, I see" he chuckled, and then his face turned dark before saying "He killed my father."
"Who was your father?" Bren asked.
"Zack Montgomery" he replied.
Bren and Jack thought for a while when realization dawned on them. "Zack Montgomery, who killed his own mate out of rage. You are revenging that man who killed your own mother!" Bren exclaimed in surprise.
"SHE WAS CHEATING ON MY FATHER. She deserves to die. She is no mother for me." Seth growled loudly.
"But killing your own mate. That is psychotic." Bren said. "And anyway Alpha or even any of us didn't kill him. He was imprisoned for the crime he committed but he died because his wolf lost it when his soulmate died. No werewolf could live happily after their mate dies especially when they are already mated. The reason your father died is because of his own self, he killed your mother so his wolf and mind killed him. That was a loss of losing your mate does to a werewolf." he stated factually.
