66. The Mole

"But who will betray us?" Macy murmured.

I shrugged. And we all started to think who could be the mole but honestly, we can't find anyone who would betray Alpha King knowing that how much wrath they would face.

"Amelia, you need to address the pack members, they are confused and heartbroken about the fact that their Alpha isn't there with them and what else will happen," Bren said.

I nodded and willed myself to be strong. "Arrange a meeting at pack ground, I'll address the members and tell them about the situation." I agreed.

They left me alone after that. I have to clear up my mind and have a plan. I have to explain the situation to all members, then find the mole and finally I can go and help Eros.

"We can do it." Selene mind linked me as she heard my unsaid doubts.

"I know but I miss him. It sucks that my confidence keeps on wavering. I wish I was strong enough to not be on edge of crying in this situation." I complained.

"Amelia, you are strong enough. If you weren't, you wouldn't be the Luna Queen of Werewolves. You just need to realize it, that is the only thing acting as a barrier for you." she reminded me. "And secondly, I am so glad that this isn't like any cliché thing that a female gets kidnapped and the male rescues her but this time a Queen would rescue her King," she said almost proudly with the fact we would rescue Eros.

"Thank you, Selene. You are my rock. I love you." I thanked her and appreciated her.

"I love you too Amelia. Now come on let's address our people" she answered and cut off the link.

"It's time, Amelia," Bren said as soon as he entered the room. I nodded, squared my shoulders with my head high, and walked out.

The whole pack was waiting patiently for their queen to talk to them. I took a deep breath before walking up the podium.

"Mi gente, many of you might know but if you didn't know, Eros, our Alpha King has been kidnapped by Julius, the Vampire King." I paused so that they could digest my confirmation about the kidnap. The mummers and cries of sadness filled the ground. I held up my hand and the crowd silenced. "I know you all are sad and angry with amongst a lot of emotions but this time isn't to dwell on them but rather help our Alpha. Our Alpha King who did everything in his power to make sure that we all are safe and happy. He went to help the packs which Julius was attacking and that son of a bitch trapped him, our Alpha. We have to rescue him before Julius could do any harm to him. Who all are with me?" I roared. Yells and shouts of agreement answered me. I nodded and continued "Thank you for all your support. I, Amelia Queens, Luna of Silver Moon Pack, and Luna Queen of all Werewolves promise you that we will find Eros and then get revenge on Julius. All those warriors who would like to join me to rescue him, please talk to Beta Bren or Gamma Jack. Thank you" I ended my speech.

"Shit, Amelia. That was epic. I wish Eros was here to see how badass his mate is." Macy said to me. She looked as if she was thinking hard about something. "Amelia, you have grown so much. You were once just a human who wasn't aware that she actually is a werewolf. Who was so shy and closed off because of the abuse she received but now look at you, a beautifully strong badass woman who is not only the Luna but the Luna Queen. I am so proud of you" she wiped a tear as she reminisced about the past events.

I also teared up. I hugged her tightly. "And a major part of that growth goes to you. I am so glad that I have such an amazing best friend anyone could ever ask for."

"Now enough with this mushy stuff. We have a rescue to plan for" Macy said and we together walked towards the office.

As we which includes Bren, Macy, Jack, and myself were shortlisting the suspects, Dylan entered. (A/N: A reminder that Dylan is the funny guy who became a friend of Amelia in chapter 36 - A Jealous Eros) 

"Amelia. I have something to say" he announced.

I have never seen him this angry and worried before, he is always that joking and dramatic that seeing him in this state is worrisome.

"Yes, what happened?" I asked.

"We have a mole" he answered.

"Yes, we know. There is a mole in our pack." I agreed with him.

"But I know who that mole is"

We all stood up. "Who is it? And how did you know about it?" we all except Dylan asked in unison.

"It is Seth Rollins," he answered.

"And who is this?" Macy questioned.

"He is the one who joined our pack recently, I was the one who signed his approval for him to join the pack. But how can he the mole, in his biography it was written that his family was dead and he didn't have any place or relative so as to be a warrior he joined the pack." I answered and explained to them what I had read.

"Yes, you might be right about his past but I know that he is the mole," Dylan argued.

"How can you be so sure about it?" I asked him.

"Because I just heard him and Amy talk about how happy they are as their plan worked and how Julius would be proud of them and complete his part of the bargain," he said.

"That bitch" I swore. "Thank you so much for telling us that Dylan." I thanked him.

"No worries but Amelia can you do me a favor?" he asked.

"Yes, tell me" I answered.

"Can I join you to rescue Alpha? I am not a warrior but I can try to fight and I want to do something for our alpha and you," he said.

My heart warmed at how much people loved Eros. "Are you sure?" I asked him.

"A hundred Percent" he answered without any hesitation.

"Okay but you have to be very careful it isn't going to be easy" I warned him.

He nodded and after bidding his bye he went.

"Now how can I confirm that they are the moles?" I questioned.

"Leave that part of us." Bren and Jack had a dark smirk on their faces.

"Okay. After confirmation we will leave in the night time, inform all warriors." I said to them.

This chapter was something that I was waiting for a long time. This chapter shows how much Amelia has grown and developed from the beginning of the book.
