newfound love (decima)

a lifetime spent searching in vain;

for beauty in countless places,

in the lines of strangers' faces;

twisted harshly with lines of pain...

a lifetime bound in unseen chains;

plaintive questions, mild innocence...

hope twinkles in eyes limitless...

the chains drag her soul above;

where her fate designs stairs to love,

which she shall take, no penitence...

P.S. If only... I didn't lose myself to occasional bouts of writer's block. And a disease called Writenonsensia.
