Chapter 1 ~ Just a Few More Days

Laura's Pov

I woke up and checked the time. 7:30. I went downstairs and made myself a cup of coffee. I sat down at the table on my phone waiting for my little angel to wake up. I heard little feet running down the stairs and then Darcy ran up to me and said, "Good morning Mama." 

"Morning sweetie pie. What do you want for breakfast?" "Ceweal and fwuit." 

"Alright pumpkin.'' I put her in her chair and gave her a sippy cup with apple juice in it.''I diced up some strawberries and a banana. Then I gave her some cheerios. 

"Thank you mama." "You're welcome sweetie pie." 

I diced up a peach and put it in a bowl of cheerios for me. I sat down at the table and started eating. Darcy said, ''Mommy. Dada come home?" 

"He isn't coming home for a few more days pumpkin. But we can FaceTime him later." "Yay! Dada!" 

"Eat your breakfast and then we will get ready and go to the park." We finished our breakfast and Darcy said, "Mama miss dada?" 

"Yes sweetie. Mama miss dada." "Mama okay?" 

"Yeah I'm fine sweetie." "Let's get weady to go to pawk." 

"Alright sweetie." She hopped off of her seat and followed me upstairs. I put her in her white shirt and light wash shorts, along with her tan sandals.

"Sweetie stay here and play with your toys. Mama is gonna go get ready. I will be right back." "Alright mama." 

I went into my room and changed into my a yellow off the shoulder top and light wash shorts, with tan sandals. I put my hair in a high ponytail. I brushed my teeth and put on some mascara and Chapstick. I went back in her room and said, "You ready to go to the park?" "Pawk!" 

I picked her up and walked to the park. I met up with my best friend Ana and her daughter Leslie. Darcy and Leslie went and played together. Ana said, "Okay. So how ya coping?" 

"I miss him a lot. It's not that hard taking care of Darcy by myself because I'm used to it. I just miss him so much." "I miss Louis." 

"I understand. We are in the same boat right now. It really sucks that they are on tour so often. I just want to cuddle with Haz." "How's Darcy doing with the separation?" 

"She asks about him everyday. Every morning she asks when he's coming home. I just want it to be soon. I feel bad that she is living her life without her father." "Well she gets to see him a lot. Maybe when she gets a little older y'all can go on tour with them." 

"I don't know. Paul is really strict about distractions. Even when me and Harry were just friends he wouldn't let me near him too often." "Same with Lou. But now that we are married to them it's even harder since we both have little girls. I still can't believe we had them a day apart. How does that even happen?" 

"I don't know. But I think it's cute." "I know. And since we are best friends I'm glad they are. It was literally all we talked about when we were younger. We wanted our kids to be best friends just like us. Lou and Haz had the same dream and it came true. If only they could get their boys."

"I know. Hopefully they will come soon. Lord help us when they do." She laughed and said, "Yeah. Are you and Haz trying to have another?" 

"Yeah. What about you and Lou?" "Yeah we are trying. He really wants a boy. I mean don't get me wrong he loves Leslie but he wants a mini Lou." 

"Same with Haz. But the cutest thing is that Darcy has my hair and his eyes. Blonde hair with green eyes is just so adorable." "Well she does have his curls though."
