There he was, My next door neighbour I wasn't sure of his name, My parents were never to fond of his family and I wasn't to sure why they'd hate such a beautiful family with an even more beautiful son, I was so distracted by him an his beauty I wanted to be his and I'm almost convinced he wanted to be mine too.

Until BAM! I fell right into him, I blushed in embarrassment and frustration because I just fell in front of the guy that I liked

He then grabbed my hands and helped me up "Hey, I'm David, David Dobrik to be exact." he says smiling softly pulling his hand towards me "Hi" I say stuttering while still blushing like a monster "And your name is?" He says smiling even more as the time goes by "It's Natalie, Natalie Mariduena." I say softly "well it's nice to meet you Natalie" he says smiling.

As I watch Davids eyes he looks up at the clock with pure shock I wondered what he was so worried about "Shit it's 8:26 already!" David says as his eyes travel back to mine "will I see you later Natalie Mariduena?" He asks as he smiles at me softly "definitely, you are my next door neighbour so i'm guessing we will see each other a lot" I say laughing lightly silently hoping I didn't sound to embarrassing "interesting, very interesting! mayI have your number?" He says with the biggest grin on his face, David was so confident with every word he said it was so charming.

I smile at David in pure joy that he was talking even me and then suddenly rememberedthat he just asked for my number "It's 786 - 455 - 2246" I say smiling at him, he then types my number down "I'll make sure to text you whenever I get home Natalie" he says with an even bigger grin on his face, David was adorable and I couldn't stand it but I weirdly wanted to see even more of him.

Natalie: who's this?

Unknown: forget me already? It's David! You fell into me earlier today HAHA

Natalie: oh shit! Hey David, what's up?

David: nothing really just chilling.. you?

Natalie: not really doing anything either haha

David: maybe we could chill at the park or something? I mean We do live right beside each other....

Natalie: that'd be fun! I'll get ready and we can go whenever you want!

David: Okay, that sounds ! I'm ready whenever your ready :)

Valentine's day or "the most romantic night of the year" as David would say I was nervous because today was the day, the day that I finally asked David to the dance before some girl asks him, I was finally going to tell David how I've felt about him since the first day of school when we fell in to each, David and I have gotten incredibly close ever since that day and I couldn't be happier about it.

"Hey Natalie!" I hear in the distance, as I look behind me I see no one other than David Dobrik, hewas running towards me probably about to say something absolutely stupid to me but I didn't mind because even though David could be a pain I loved whenever he opened his stupid mouth.

As David finally makes it up to me he smiles "what you thinking about Nat? Me" he says laughing "Actually" I pause "yes" I say looking down at him, David was still shorter than me and I found it so adorable he was such a baby still but I am convinced he will grow sooner or later I was silently hoping that he wouldn't so I could be the taller one forever.

David then smiles at me once again "what were you thinking about?" He asks "well" I pause "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the Valentine's Day dance with me?" I ask
"actually?" He says confused, I almost regretted even asking by the look of his face "as friends, right?" He says smiling, I look down in disappointment "yes, as friends I guess" I say I shouldn't have asked this is so embarrassing for me.

"That'd be totally fun!" he says smiling "I can't wait to show all the guys my hot date!" He says laughing, I laugh at him, did David just call me hot, I laugh even more "that's the other way around dave! I can't wait to show all these thirsty Vernon Hills gals my cute date!" I say smiling at him David then laughs at my comment "I really am happy to have you Nat" he says patting my shoulder I smile "I'm happy to have you too David" David then pulls in for a hug "I couldn't ask for a better friend" he says I cringe internally I didn't want to be his friend, I wanted to be with him.

Well, here we were are David was holding my hands so we could make a 'cool entrance' as he says I wondered if he just said that to hold my hand but quickly pushed off that thought because there was no way david could even like me like that.

"We should totally take a photo!" I say excited "for memories and shit" I say laughing David then laughs at my comment "yeah, that'd be perfect! my parents are probably going to glue it to the fridge or something" he says laughing "there probably happy I'm not gay!" he adds, I laugh even harder I wondered if david would become a comedian later in life he was so funny i'd he be sad to see that he he put to waste.

As we take our picture to print David and I bully each other in friendly way of course I loved our friendship it was so sweet, the photo then prints and we get the most awkward Valentine's Day dance photo ever.

"Well that's fucking embarrassing" David says looking at the photo "at least you look good" he says pointing at me "oh, shut up!" I say blushing "no it's true, you always so look beautiful Nat" He says pulling in for a hug, David and I hugged all the time but for some reason this one felt different but I didn't know why "I'm really happy you dragged me to this dance" David says smiling at me "you truly are my best friend Natalie" he says smiling "you're my best friend too" I say smiling at him "let's go dance" I say smiling as I grab his hand "Let's go embarrass ourselves you mean?" David says laughing as I pull him towards the dance floor "yes, Let's go embarrass ourselves!" I say as we then begin to dance the night away.
