I've always loved waking up to his face even when I was angry at him, the way he peacefully woke up and slowly stretched his frail, long body early in the morning somehow made me appreciate the small things he does as his day goes on, today was different David woke up without saying a singular word to me, his face was straight and he didn't ask me to make breakfast for him.

"Nat, can you come in here" David asks after ignoring me for almost six hours straight today "So he speaks!" I say annoyed "I've been stressed all day, I know how angry you can get about this" he says "You can be very unrealistic and unreasonable during most problematic things going on in our life" I explain "I have to film with Liza today" he says, I know David and Liza are still close friends after everything that happened it just hurt knowing David would have to joke about getting back with her for the vlog and flirting so he could make his fans happier "that's okay" I say smiling at him

To be fair my heart was breaking as I heard "Liza" come out his mouth. My eyes felt like they've never once blinked I wanted to cry but I knew that whatever made David happy, made me happy. Isn't that how relationships are supposed to work? I understand it's work but David doesn't even care to tell our friends that I'm his. It doesn't bother me but I'd appreciate all these girls making him uncomfortable and constantly flirting with him for the vlog to stop.

"Natalie?" He says softly "I will forever love you and only you, you know I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't for the vlog. You're my beautiful, intelligent, powerful, independent and all in all amazing girl friend" he says smiling "I really don't care. I'm still your 'assistant' and I do take care of DDLC after everything so I'd advise you go vlog with her make a couple jokes or even toss in a hint that you still miss her and call it a day" I say with a straight face "Yes sir" David says giggling "Just don't do anything stupid dave" I say looking into his eyes. He grabs my sweaty palms and says something I'll never forget "I promise on my mother's grave that I'll never break your heart Natalie" he says as he looks into my eyes.

He pulls in for a kiss and lets go I wanted to cry as he let me go, I wish David wasn't as famous as he his but I know that David wouldn't last working a normal job for more than four hours.

As I watch him walk out the door and enter his white Tesla I smile because no matter how anxious I can be about a situation I'll never forget all the goofy moments, random arguments, stupid jokes or even the way he holds me. David loved me and I loved David, he was right. I know he'd never hurt me no matter how much I could overthink about something.

After what almost felt like hours I decided to stop overthinking about whatever David is doing with Liza and finally go on my phone

I stare at the photo with so much regret believing every word that David said to me "we're just friends now, Natalie don't worry!" "I love you! Not her!" "I'd never hurt you"

What hurts the most is that I know it's real, I watched him walk out of the house we live in together in that outfit thinking I'd see him come home in the next couple of hours smiling because he got some "clickbait worthy" clips. What was I supposed to do? This is my home, no one knows me and David are dating, he bought me a new car. I was going to live the rest of my life with David knowing that he'd cheat on me and not even think about it.

As I look at the pictures more I feel my heart beat faster and faster. I almost felt as if steam was pouring out of my ears and that my head was about to explode. Why hasn't David texted me? Why hasn't he said anything! Why do I deserve this? So many questions but no answers.

I walk into David and I room and frown, the bed we sleep in together doesn't feel normal anymore, How long has he felt like this? What did I ever do to him to have this happen to me.

I then walk into his closet and smile Everything was black I then grab his favourite hoodie and hug it.

As I grew older I always had David, he was my best friend and There wasn't a day that I wouldn't go to David's house and bully him or even make vines with him. I've been in love with David ever since grade nine and for whatever people can say I truly believe that he's my soulmate. I believe in David and I hope he does the right thing.

I hold the hoodie closer to my nose and get the faint smell of his cologne I smile and look at the ground, Until.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

I walk over to the door but it wasn't just him, it was him Liza and six of our other friends.

"Hey Natalie!" Liza says smiling, she grabs David's hand and walks into our house.
