I am the resurrection,
and the life:
he that believes in me,
though he were dead,
yet shall he live:
And whosoever lives
and believes in me
shall never die.

Jesus Christ died on the cross for us to pay for our sins but he was risen on the third day.
He is the first to resurrect. And all those who BELIEVED in him shall be resurrected to eternal life too.
