Bible verse for the day
And Samuel said, Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected you from being king.
1 Samuel 15:22-23

This is a message of the prophet Samuel to King Saul when he cannot wait to go to battle. He disobeyed God and made sacrifices on his own against God's will.
This reminds us that God requires us to be obedient to Him and his word. Your own sacrifices cannot pay for your disobedience.
Being rebellious or stubborn is rejecting the word of God and is equivalent to the sins that God hated - witchcraft and idolatry.
You cannot say you're better than a witch if you are disobedient.
