Chapter Four

Y/N's P.o.v.

I woke up with a splitting headache, and was immediately greeted by my partner, Eevee. He was wagging his tag and was licking my face as I smiled and placed my hand on his furry body. "Hey boy....you're okay..." I say with relief, not seeing any marks or bruises on his body.

Then I began to remember what had happened before I blacked out. I remember putting Eevee in his pokeball, placing it back in my bag and hitting the ground and going unconscious, but not before I saw a shadow coming towards me, and then.... nothing.

My eyes widen at the thought of the shadowy figure and I instantly shot up out of someone's bed. And then I noticed that, there were two men that were surprised by me instantly shooting up.

"She's awake! She's awake!" Cried a man who actually.... had no hands? I was surprised and confused by him... also flying? What? I then felt a hand on my shoulder and instantly jolted up. I then out of fear, surprise and instinct kick the person who placed their hand on my shoulder into their chest, and they let out a groan and fell into the wall and fell to the ground.

I turn around to see who was frightening me. Eevee then instantly jumps from the bed and goes to the man that had surprised me. "Eevee! Wait! You don't who that is!" I said in panic. Fearing that Eevee could be captured and taken away, I try to grab him, but he was already at the man's side, trying to help him up.

I then stared at the man. He had what looked like a Japanese robe on, and had a bamboo thing that was next to him. He wore a hat, and he was clutching his chest from pain. I then began to feel bad, knowing that I could've really hurt someone that was trying to help me. Still though, I had no clue what was going on. I still didn't trust this man, but I think Eevee knows him, because usually Eevee is very overprotective of me whenever something bad happens. He usually growls or attacks, but he wasn't even slightly angry when he got near the man.

"What is wrong with you?!" Cried the flying man. "Now Lin Chung could be seriously hurt!"

I then turned around, feeling offended."Wait, your saying it's My fault!? I don't even know who you guys are!! And your expecting me to just trust you when for all I know you could really be thieves or worse!?"

"You should be grateful that we saved you!" He said back. "This whole land of the country is roaming with wild rampaged animals who will hurt humans like you no matter what they're going through!"

"Grateful for what, exactly? The fact that you guys technically kidnapped me and want to play it safe?!"

"Enough, enough!"

No one's P.o.v.

The dismayed two looked back at Lin Chung, who was clutching his chest, and with Eevee helping him up. 

And (Y/N) was completely confused altogether.
