Chapter Five

Y/N's P.o.v.

The strange man with no arms immediately ran over to the other room, saying, "Hang on,Lin! I'll get you a revival tea!" And he was out of the room in an instant.

I stared at the man as I got off the bed and slowly, but carefully and aware to help him on the bed.

At first, I didn't really say anything, but I did feel terrible for hurting him, I know he was only trying to help, but it's just really alerting when someone does that. I just do it out of defense, pure and simple.

The guy sat down, his breathing not as heavy as before but still pretty heavy. I looked at his chest and saw that I had left a purple bruise. Ohhhh, that's gotta hurt.

I then just stood there, not really able to say any words.

Lin Chung, was the guy with no arms had said. That was his name. I felt horrible, hurting him and everything. I really want to apologize, but I just don't know what to say.

It was nothing but silent until Lin, broke the silence.

"Hey, Listen, I know you don't trust us yet, but you have to understand that I was only trying to protect you out there. Like No Hands said, there are dangerous animals that don't give a heck about humans, and they can effortlessly crush a human if you're not careful."

No Hands? Ha! That's really his name?

"Dangerous animals?" I asked. "Like what? I've dealt with plenty of Pokémon in MY world."

He then looked confused. "Poke-what?"

"Wait. You've seriously never heard of Pokémon before?" I asked him.

Then I realized that the ultrabeast had sent me to another world that doesn't have Pokémon. Or know what it is.

"Oh right...."I said, a little embarrassed. "You don't know what they are in your world."

"So it's true? You've come from a different world? Where?" He asked, going from in pain to immediate curiosity.

"It's a very long story," I told him. "I'll be sure to tell you soon."

"Anyway," I continued, "I wanted to apologize for hitting you,"

He gave back a warm smile. "It's okay,it was just out of defense. By the way, I'm Lin Chung. What's your name?"

"Oh, it's Y/N. And that fox there is my partner, Eevee! Usually he doesn't trust anyone, but he seems to take a liking towards you!"

Eevee yelped with glee as he wagged his tail. Lin gave a smile as he pet Eevee's beautiful white fur, and Eevee was enjoying it.

"So, if the Animals are not Pokémon, then what are they?" I asked, curious.

"Like I said, they are animals that do not like humans at all because of a cruel ruler who tricked the animals into thinking humans were their enemies, and now there are strong hostilities between the animals and humans. But they weren't always like that. Before the cruel ruler had manipulated them, animals and humans were allies, and they were the best of friends. Everything was once peaceful, but one thing had to happen and now everything is broken, and now it needs to be mended. And right now, my best friends and Commander are taken hostage by The Rabbit King and his drones, and I must save them before something bad happens."

"Oh no, that's awful," I said. "That ruler must be a real pain in the ass, huh?"

"Well, not the word I was looking for, but yeah, he's somewhat like that."

I giggled at his response. Who knew he could have a sense of humor?

"So, what happens after you save your friends?" I asked.

"I then introduce them to you, and hopefully we can help you find you and your partner Eevee a way home." He said with a smile.

I smiled back.

Then No hands walked in with the Tea.
