Chapter 17 (Camel Castle Part One)

Lin Chung's P.o.v.

I was drawing a map of the village to get to camel castle. Commander Ape Truly was overlooking the camels rampaging against the humans and (Y/N) was by my side. I was finished When Commander Ape Truly said, "High Roller has turned the camels against the humans! I must try to convince the camels to turn from evil, and join us at Big Green!"

I then looked up at replied to him. "Commander Ape Truly, it might not be safe. Let me go with you." (Y/N) nodded her head. "You've always seemed to get caught in situations, Commander. Let me join with you, too!" She said raising her hand.

But Commander Ape Truly shook his head and said, "They'll he more likely to trust me if I go alone. You two head back and let everyone know where I am." I looked over at (Y/N) and she rolled her eyes playfully. I'm pretty sure she doesn't trust Ape Truly to make peace with the animals all alone. I can see why.

I then picked up my map that I've been working very hard on and showed it to Commander. "Here, I've drawn a map to Camel castle to show the others how to get here."  I hope he likes it, I've tried really hard to get it just right.

Commander Ape Truly's P.o.v.

"Do you like my drawing?" He asked.
I immediately was shocked and surprised to see how much scribbles there were! It was so messy and out of sort that I can't make any sort of it! But I can't tell Lin Chung that I don't like it, or he'll fall into depression and lose the passion to do anything else! When he made a model out of wood, everyone laughed at his work and he was so disheartened that his marksmenship was not the same.Until he had grown to love a new passion. The passion of drawing. But, really, awful drawings. But no one decided to say anything about it because Lin Chung was so happy to find a new passion that no one wanted him to lose that passion and become sad again, and neither do I, so I decided to play along with this:

"Never have I laid my eyes upon such a outstanding map!" I exclaimed, trying hard to fool him.

"I have a real passion for drawing," He said with a smile.

"And it shows! I thank my lucky stars that I have lived long enough to such a work of beauty!" I said breathlessly. I think I've fooled him well. Now, before (Y/N) picks something up that I didn't really mean those words at all I have to get out here before she says something! "Well, farewell then!" I said as I ran up to the Big Green helicopter and flew straight out of there immediately.

(Y/N)'s P.o.v.

I watched as Commander Ape Truly said goodbye and left in the helicopter immediately. I rolled my eyes and my eyebrows narrowed. Commander lied! But I don't see why he had to! I looked over at the drawing and saw it. It doesn't look that bad! All it needs is probably some color and a bit more practice and he'll get better at what he loves doing!

"I'm glad he liked it," Lin Chung said with a smile.

Then we got back on his turtle and we were off back to Big Green.

Honestly I don't really think that Commander can last a full minute in a castle, because the animals don't want gold! He can't just keep using the same tactics over and over, so I'm going to expect him signaling us soon.

Once we were back, he shows his drawing to everyone. I hope that everyone will go easy on him!

"What an awful drawing!" Mighty Ray cried. I saw the look on Lin Chung's face of surprise. "I feel like feeding my eyes to a warthog!" He said in disgust. Lin Chung had chimed in and asked, "Don't you like my drawing?"

Mystique Sonia turned around with a gasp and said, "Lin Chung! Wow! You drew this?" She said in her best exciting voice. Lin Chung then closed his eyes and looked deeply sad. I began to feel bad. I don't want Lin to suffer from sadness.

However, No Hands chimed in and said, "Mighty Ray is incorrect," He said, sounding more believable then Mystique Sonia. Lin Chung then looked up in surprise.

"This drawing is very fantastic," He said with a wink and smile. Then he turned to everyone and said, "Right, everyone?"

Everybody including me again had agreed in exhilaration. "It's such a cute map," Mystique Sonia said. Then she looked over at Mighty Ray and smacked him on the head to play along with it. Then he finally got in the act as well. "Oh yeah! What was I thinking? My eyeballs must be broken." Then he took out his eyes and I cringed a little bit at the sight of it and then he started banging then onto the table while saying, "C'mon, you stupid eyeballs, work, work, work! Gahhhh!" He was Then electrocuted by his eyeballs, and fell to the floor. Then he put his eyes back in and looked up and the drawing upside down and said, "There! That's better! Now I can see the drawing perfectly!"

Lin Chung smiled and said, "I am flattered."

Then the alarm for Commander went off.

"Commander Ape Truly is in trouble! First Squad,deploy!" Everyone's holes to go down the slides were opened and immediately went down. I was about to go down with Lin Chung again, like usual, but No Hands halted me and said, "(Y/N), there's something I forgot to tell you," He then continued on. "Since your a part of First Squad now, we all agreed that you should have your very own turtle!" He exclaimed with a smile. My eyes went wide. "Wait, really?!" I said, a little flabbergasted.

He chuckled and nodded his head. "You've been such a great team member. You know how to help the team,you have creatures that can help us on missions, and you help us out when we need you! It's down there waiting for you!"

I smiled and hugged No Hands while saying, "Thank you so much No Hands!" No Hands was shocked but smiled and if he could he would've probably hugged me back. "Well, there's no time to lose, (Y/N)! Go along! Your turtle's waiting!" I then went down the slide and immediately I had landed on my turtle and I looked down to see a small turtle looking up smiling at me. I looked back up to see Lin looking at me in shock but soon smiling. The others were shocked.

Then as soon as we looked away from each other, we were off to Camel castle to rescue Commander Ape Truly and save him from the Camels, but it actually took us a little while before we actually got there, but we eventually made it there, we had a hard time getting there by the map Lin had made.

I was with Lin as soon as we had hidden in a safe place as we watched Commander Ape Truly cry as the other Camels were sketching him, and I was about to announce my plan to Lin until I had looked back at him and saw him drawing.

"Lin! What are you doing?!" I said in a whisper.

"I'm drawing Commander Ape Truly," He said with a smile. I slapped my hand against my head. Really?! At a time like this?!

Mighty Ray didn't have different thoughts, either. "That's Ape Truly? That looks like-!" He was cut off from being hit in the head by Mystique Sonia's Yaksha smacking him. Then he fell to the floor hard and caused all of the Camels to turn around and blow our cover.

Uh, oh, I thought.

(Sorry for the wait I hope this chapter was worth it.)
