Chapter 29

(Y/N)'s P.o.v.

I was training with Lin. His idea of training was actually not that bad, we were both sitting and meditating.

I was expecting something more intense, like jogging, but just sitting down and meditating softly to ourselves was a lot more peaceful, and being able to hear my own thoughts without hearing yelling and constant whining and complaining from Mystique Sonia and Mighty Ray along with No Hands was honestly really comforting and relaxing in my mind.

"As you meditate, think about the things that bring you happiness, joy, and comfort," Lin said as he still had his eyes closed.

As I kept my eyes closed, I began to think about the things that made me happy, such as my team, my mother, my friends, and Hau. I could only think about how I would be able to go back home and see them again.

I just remained calm as I remained in sync with Lin Chung, and just smiled as I thought about how soon I'd find a way to come back home to them.

Mighty Ray's P.o.v.

I was training on my own, scarfing down all of the bananas that I could find as I was preparing to shock the photo of me and Lin Chung together. I then glared at the photo with absolute disgust and envy, angered that Lin managed to get (Y/N) to like him, and blocking my chances of ever being with her.

"I am Mighty Ray," I muttered with aggravation as my eyes began to spark.
"And I will have (Y/N) in the end!" I cried as I zapped the photo, completely obliterating it to dust. I couldn't help but chuckle a bit at how I've began to grow in progress with my powers. I know that in time, I will have (Y/N), though in order to prove to her that I am better than Lin, then I will have to practice even more with my electricity power and prove to her that I am the better one skilled wise.

(Y/N) has already seen me in battle, but I need to do more than I am already doing now currently in order to show off and achieve to win her affections. I just need to get stronger and wiser. But it needs to happen slowly, and as much as I hate waiting, I'm going to do it in order to show (Y/N) that I truly care about her. That I would do anything for her.

Because I would do anything for her.

She is my light, and I won't let that precious light go out. Ever.

Mystique Sonia's P.o.v.

I was walking along past Mighty Ray's room, and as I did, I couldn't help but hear a noise. Curious, I took a peek at what was going on and I was immediately shocked at what was happening. Mighty Ray had completely shocked the photo of him and Lin Chung together! I felt nothing but complete fear and anxiousness within me. Mighty Ray sometimes gets jealous, but never to the point where he would actually try and turn against a team member!

I then heard Mighty Ray mumble something after the photo was turned to immediate dust.
"I can't let Lin Chung to get to her first....I HAVE to show (Y/N) that I care about her deeply, and that I would do anything for her. I need to get better in my skills quick..."

I then realized what was going on. I did recall that Mighty Ray had said earlier that he was upset that Lin had taken (Y/N)'s affections from her, but I didn't actually think he was serious about it! All this time I thought that he was just being a little jealous about the new girl hanging out with Lin instead of him, since he loved the attention.

But really, he's in love with her! Really in love!

I can't help but feel bad, since he all he wants is to just simply protect her, but there's nothing I can do about this situation! If I tell Lin, then (Y/N) will be embarrassed about her feelings being exposed to him! And if I tell (Y/N), she may not feel the same about Might! This is a complete mess...and I have a feeling it may not end out good either...

I just hoped again that he wouldn't get so upset to the point where someone would actually end up getting seriously hurt, because if that really happened, then it wouldn't be a good one.

I'll try to do my best to keep things at bay with the three. It won't be easy, but I'll do it so that I can protect them. We're supposed to be First Squad, and we'll continue to remain a team.
