Chapter 26

(Y/N)'S P.o.v.

Okay, so, High Roller didn't really think it through with his move at all. He basically just charged at us with his entire body thinking that it was going to do something. Obviously it did not. I casually moved to the side as Eevee used the move tackle on High Roller, giving him a head butt to his forehead and he went flying from the sky as he hit his body to the ground. I turned around to see the Zebra Brothers staring at us and I looked at him bored as they both did the same thing High Roller did, and like before, Eevee quick attacked them and they both were back to passing out. I couldn't help but laugh at how pointless this all really was, because it seemed like they needed to try harder. Then, I heard a voice. Mighty Ray was calling out for me.

"(Y/N)!"

I looked behind me and was immediately embraced by him hugging me tightly.

"Are you okay? High Roller didn't do anything to do, did he?" Mighty Ray glared at High Roller angrily.

"No, he didn't. He and those two Zebras tied me up, but I managed it on my own. I had Eevee with me." I glanced at Eevee as he smiled. He wagged his tail and went back to growl at High Roller along with Mighty Ray.

High Roller got up and was furious when he saw the rest of First Squad follow to where we were, and he didn't have much of an option to surrender.

"Fine! You can have your precious friend back! But remember this! She WILL be mine someday! She's just blinded by your morals!"

Not believing a word he said, I told Eevee to use the move swift on him and the Zebra brothers. Within seconds he and the Zebras were knocked out again.

Mighty Ray was speechless.

"Come on, Might, we're going back. This was a waste of time." I said as I had left the castle and went back on my turtle that the guys brought to me.

"Oh! Yeah! Right!" Mighty Ray then followed behind me.

Mighty Ray's P.o.v.

I'm so relieved that (Y/N)'s alright and okay, but I'll never forgive High Roller for what he did to her. She's too beautiful and sweet to be captured. And she's fearless, too.

My face heated up when I heard the nickname she gave to me: 'Might'. It makes me happier and I can feel something precious and fluffy behind that nickname. I'll only let (Y/N) call me that. No one else.

We went back home as I continued to practice my banana skills for (Y/N). I need to train so that I can prove that I'm faithful and that I'm worthy to fight. No matter how much I hate and despise them, I'll do it for her. No matter how gross...I'll do it for her.

And her, alone.
