Chapter 3

Lin Chung's P.o.v.

I kept going and was running past villagers that had seen me either was shocked because I was carrying a girl in my arms, or because they were noticing the creature on my shoulder and ran off to their homes. I understood them of why they were hiding, but I know this little creature isn't a monster, and it's just wanting help from someone to care for its owner. I had entered the fort to where I would meet with No Hands, Mystique Sonia, and Mighty Ray. Maybe they could help me tend this girl to her needs.

I entered the fort; placing her bag on the floor and carrying her with the small creature still on my shoulder as No Hands flys across the room back and forth tensely, as if something was terribly wrong. He then notices me in his presence.

"Lin Chung! Where have you bee-!" He immediately cuts off as he looked at the girl and then at the creature that happily wagged it's big furry tail at him. "Lin!" He exclaims, wide eyed. "Who is this girl!? And what is that?"  He then immediately flys back a step, as if he was trying to be very aware and cautious because he thought it was another animal that was in for battle.

I shook my head as I began to speak. "I was in the bamboo forest with nature as my companion, when all of a sudden, I had heard a loud noise through the forest, and as I ran to see what had happened, I saw this girl on the ground, unconscious. She seemed to have hit her head hard, because she's not awake."

No Hands slowly and carefully began to fly over towards me but kept a fair distance because of the creature.

"Are you sure she's not severely injured?" He asked, staring at the girl.

I nodded. "She doesn't seem to be hurt anywhere else, but she's fine."

He then looked back at the creature on my shoulder. ((Dang I'm saying shoulder a lot)) "Lin... please tell me if that thing is friendly or not... I really don't want to fight because of what kind of mess we're in right now..."

That last part caught me off guard.

"Mess? No Hands, what mess?" I said as I had went and began to enter my room and placed her on my bed.

He sighed as he continued when I came back from my room, where the door was still open.

"Commander Ape Truly,Mighty Ray, and Mystique Sonia have been taken captive at Rabbit Castle!" He exclaimed.

"Then there's no time to waste," I said as i went back into my room and the creature had jumped off of my shoulder and stayed by its owner's side. It then looked at me.

"Don't worry, small one. I have to go somewhere, and I promise I'll be back as soon as I can. For the time being, you stay here with your owner until I come back. If she wakes up, stay by her side. If not, then wait until I return. Can you do that?"

The creature nodded. "Bai!"

I smiled as I pet it's head for a minute.

"I'm sorry, small one, but it's just too risky to bring you along with me. Besides, if you came along with me I don't think it'll go well for anyone...."

The creature then laid next to the girl as I then got out of my room and began to make a run for it, when No Hands cuts me off.

"Lin Chung, you're really not going to leave that.... thing here, are you?" He asked, looking a bit tense.

I had shaken my head again. "Yes, and I plan and doing exactly that. It's not a monster, No Hands, it's the most sweetest creature I've ever met, so it won't hurt anyone. Trust me. Besides, if I bring it along with me, it wouldn't be very pretty for anyone. The rabbits and the Rabbit King himself might get offended and take it the wrong way, as a battle, and it would probably only get worse then it really has to be."

No Hands sighed. "Yeah, you could be right, but what about the girl? What are we going to do about her?"

"We'll figure something out, No Hands. But for now I have to get going to help the-!"

"Uuuuuuuuughhhh.....my head......"

That was the sound of a young girl coming from my room. Me and No Hands looked at each other and ran into my room as we surrounded the girl immediately.

I stared at her; she seemed so safe and sound on my bed, her silky (H/C) hair just seeming to flow by light, her soft skin....and her eyes.

I stayed in shock as I began to see those (E/C) eyes open.

And soon they began to stare at me.
