Chapter 24

Lin Chung's P.o.v.

After we fought off the guards and they were no longer able to fight back from us, we all immediately entered inside after we had made our plan. I felt anger as I clenched my hand. If anyone's going to try and take (Y/N) from us, I'd like to see them try. Even though I am calm on the outside, on the inside is where I keep my emotions and silence them. But I can no longer silence them any longer inside. I want to save (Y/N), and make sure she's safe and sound.

High Roller won't have her.

Mighty Ray's P.o.v.

I am upset with myself for letting (Y/N) get kidnapped and for not keeping up with her before it was too late. It was pathetic how I didn't even try to make a run after her at all. No way that's going to happen at all this time. Or ever. I will make sure that no one will ever get near her and take her away again if it's the last thing I do.

If anyone's going to want her to be their loved one it's me.

She's going to be mine.

And I swear I'll protect her until the end of time.

Even if it means my own life in advance.

(Y/N)'s P.o.v.

"......GRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAHHHH! WHY WON'T YOU JUST FOLLOW MY ORDERS?! JUST DO WHAT I TELL YOU!!!" High Roller said frustratedly as Eevee gave him a bored look with one eye open, and then closed it as he laid down and curled up, not at all interested as I am to be a part of his empire. Eevee couldn't have cared less about High Roller and the Zebra Brothers at all.

To be honest when I first caught Eevee he didn't seem all that interested into wanting to be my partner at all. Every command I gave, every plead I told him, he wasn't bribed even a little. It wasn't until when my friends back home tried talking me into letting him go, but I wasn't about to do that. I knew he had some kind of power in him that needed to be unlocked, and I refused to give up on him. He was walking in the hallway of my house when he heard me tell my friends,

"There's no way I'm ever going to let him go! He has a strong kind of power surging through him, and he's the most special thing to me that I have ever seen in my life, I can't just give him up just like that! What kind of trainer would I be if I don't put up a strong good fight? He has potential in him, I know it.

.....I know he's not familiar with me or my team and everyone and probably is trying his hardest to getting used to it, but he's special. The passion burning in his eyes says it all. We both are meant to be partners. And I will never leave him alone by himself. Not again ever."

Those words changed Eevee's behavior forever. He would lick my face in the morning and wag his tail, started listening to my commands and began to get close to me.

I don't regret saying those words at all to my friends since that day. Ever since I said it, it changed the way how Eevee saw me and the world he lived in. I'm glad I never gave up on him. He always had the potential, he just needed a little push to show him that I wasn't going to give up so easily on him.

My thoughts were immediately snapped away and out of my head when I heard High Roller's scream of anger from trying to control Eevee again but failing miserably.

I hope they find us before this continues....
